You can carry ranked games with almost everyone, even as support, just stomp your lane (which shouldn't be hard at 1100) and then help other lanes. 89% (8/1) winrate on Riven, 83% (5/1) on Xin and 66% (6/3) on Vayne here. It's less luck than you think, it's partially individual skill and partially teamwork skills, even if you can win your lane you have to be able to turn in into a win by helping your teammates. A mistake many people make is beat the opponent in lane and then get mad at their team for not owning their lane and because of that they stop focussing on the game. I have a 68,4% (26/12) winrate for ranked games right now, only soloQ'd.

That depends if you want to be a mid-laner/jungler/top-laner
But If I had to pick, I would get Diana. Because of her awesomeness and strength. A very important character in teamfights and a rather op midlaner or a jungler.
I've seen some solo top Dianas, but there are better choices for that.
So yeah, I would definitely get Diana.

Playing on my noob friends account. Playing Cho for godly sustain because I'm also 1 v 2 top. That one game that's expanded was a 1 v 2 vs. the wombo combo darius and garen. Guess who got a double kill twice on them.

and I am faced with a decision. I want to get Evelynn because she has a fun play style, good poke. and godly burst - but I've also been looking into Twisted Fate though I know Oak won't let me play him unless he's drunk on no sleep. Then there's Shen...I suppose I couldn't play him in Ranked what with the banning - but even so.

TF. Eve isn't going to be as effective with the DFG nerf, and I'm sure she'll be looked over even after that nerf. TF is incredibly hard to master, take it from a player whose given up on him because FlashFox and friends raged at me for failing too hard, but yeah. He's easy to learn, hard to master.
Shen is fun but gets old in like two games. I playe him pre-rework and stuffs, back when he was considered UP, so not too sure on that, but you know. TF is a koo' guy.
i think i jut relized that i play LoL from scratch too a level 30 without any help and tips , and i hit that level only in about 3/4 months.

My 3 favorite champs at the moment are: Katarina, Ezreal and Vayne/Kog'Maw. Katarina is just soo amazing. I love Shunpoing around and picking up kills. Ezreal just has a great burst and to be honest that nerf only hit his dueling side. His damage still remains very very strong. Vayne and Kog'Maw are just the best carries late game. The feeling you get from their damage late game is incredible.
