A new stage for TNT

... (I seriously hope that TNT Classic shutting down is really just an April Fools Joke. I'm going to pray for it to happen. If it's not an April Fools joke, what am I going to do to blow people up?! And in premium, what would happen to the pistols? The airstrikes? I'm happy for the premium users, but for myself... It's a nightmare.)

Figured I should eventually get around to post here, as I hope this is no longer an overextended joke. It is a huge shame to hear the news of Classic TNT closing. It shows nothing good coming for Lava and Zombies.
It feels like yesterday destroyerx1 had this post: (Although it was August 2010)
"The newest server to be hosted and operated by TheOne's Community, TNT Wars is a game in which players try to earn points by killing players of the opposite team (red or blue) with exploding TNT, and a variety of items that can be bought with points from the item shop. Players earn 10 points every time they kill a member of the other team. Every 10 minutes, the map is reset to a randomly selected map, teams' (but not players') points are reset, and each member of the winning team is awarded 100 points."
I remember the times hopping on the server when it was 30/30, just like Zombies and Lava. Knowing KingSam since 2009, he has been an idol to me in the community. He was a wonderful Head Controller who got a lot of shit done for that server. I even went on TNT and played a few rounds on there for old times sake.
Premium TNT will be interesting to see and hopefully will be a hit for Blocktopia. I'm hoping to regain interest in the server concept, as I have lost my spark for TNT quite awhile ago. I'd just wish KS/Alka would be able to staff it.
Furthermore, if this is a joke, ya got me. But it seemingly is leaning otherwise that is not.

Just read this hoping it was an april fools joke (well the parts where ks and alkatraz were resigning and that the server was closing down) and since it is sadly not, i thought i should post here ;_;
I remember the first time i joined TNT Wars, i thought i was the biggest noob ever. i got killed quite a lot and spammed blocks everywhere. Even as this all happened. Even if i was getting battered up by loads of other players, this server seemed to captivate me. it made me want to stay and get killed some more. Not just because of the game itself but because of the wonderful players and staff i had the pleasure of meeting. It was fun while it lasted, and while i still think it still has a chance, its time to let go.
Now for ks and alkatraz:
KS: We've had our fair shares of just plain talking it out and arguing, but i can help but admire how wise you are. I will never forget what we have talked about and i do hope to see you around the xommunity
Alkatraz: we dont know each other that much but, ALL the time i've seen you on the server (or even on the forums) oddly made want to play tnt even more. Now im wishing i did.
All in all, im really hoping PTnT will do Classic tnt justice. Cant wait to try it out :D
