Oooo. I love listening to other people's dreams and experiences in the unconscious; they are often so interesting.
(also totally jealous of those of you who are Lucid Dreamers, I would love to be able to control my dreams sometimes)

Here's a dream I had over the summer that I had (tried) to write down in order to remember it in my attempts to try and get more control on my dreams.
I must say its still probably the most vivid dream I've had in years, and I can still remember it fairly well. ^-^
I quite liked the dream to boot.
This one's about zombies, for some reason. Happened roughly around the time I finished Telltale's Walking Dead I believe.
Also please excuse the messiness, did this right as I woke up after having it so it's not very professional. >.<
I also hope I snipped out all of the personal information I included while typing it originally...
It all began in an unknown facility, built years after the zombie epidemic. I was there seeking a train to travel to the single remaining human stronghold left, which was formed by the survivors from across the globe. I was there, similarly to all others my age: I had just turned 19, and every man or woman at said age must choose an occupation to assist theirs, or other groups in survival, wherever that was. I sat quietly in the, I believe underground(?) station awaiting the technologically advanced (as somehow we had reached an extremely high tech level only a few short years afterwards) train to arrive. I believe I sat beside my sister (possibly) as well as another, older woman, possibly 27, and (possibly) her 2 sons. I’m not sure what happened, but she kept saying quotes such as, “How kind,” “Oh how nice/polite you are,” and such in a bit of a mocking tone, periodically after I performed small actions, such as opening a door for them, or letting them onto a train before I had the chance to get on it. (not sure why I did this, it was all a bit of a blur, possibly from the anxiousness of the “right of passage” getting this job. Everyone knew, the leaders of the bastion were strict… merciless. If we couldn’t follow orders, choose a job in the new society they liked, then BAM, execution, and no one will ever hear from you again.) I took the train to a strange, personal chamber of metal and screens that I do not recall using, but I believe it had to do with the job choice. I had chosen, and the chair I sat in began to motorize and I was transported upwards into some kind of larger station, on a cliff or in a mountain/crater, somewhat like an airport, bustling with some remnants of humanity. For some reason I had chosen to become a doctor, medic, whatever it was called; I don’t know why, I still felt those jitters, even long afterwards, and I had a fear of much of what goes on / comes out of the human body (though it was suppressed with the zombie killing) yet I still cannot say. I walked along the window as people walk passed me and sat down against a solid wall waiting for the return home. We travelled short distances by rocket/space ships now for some reason. Some man approached me, talked, then I boarded and everything went black.

I returned driving back in a quiet car down my home-street and I pulled up into my driveway, my old house (reminiscent of my actual house on (SNIP) Street except blue and has a very awesome stairway system that doesn’t connect to the first floor of the house…) was where I and… maybe 15 others from our group held shelter. I was one of the co-leaders of the group, along with 3 others whom I can’t recall. As I got out and closed the door, I spied a reasonably small (still large) group of walkers banging on a house. It would have seemed normal, except all other houses, besides the one beside ours (which held my cousins family & arsenal) had been picked clean, and no life remained, and was always quiet. Somehow they were attracted here. Even stranger for a phenomenon was that quickly, they stopped and turned toward another house, and started banging on those walls/windows. They continued to do this for some time. Unknown to my knowledge, they were slowly creeping up the street, moving from house to house. Without that knowledge, I went into the backyard (it was completely blocked off from the street, except by a small fence from the neighbors yard). I sat and walked around wondering how I got the job of a doctor. I talked to a male friend, I don’t know his name. Then, I noticed that the small (extremely small, like palm of your hand small) pink poodle-like dog seemed to be hanging off the ground at the fence of my cousin/neighbors yard (they were connected). I rushed over there, only to see a large, white, zombified (though lazy / uninterested) dog trying to eat the small poodle. Before I could do anything the dog ate a chunk from the poodles next/shoulder area. I pulled it loose, and started into the dogs eyes before quickly chucking him/her back to the ground. The poodle had been rabid for some time, I had forgotten or had not known. I rushed toward my cousins house to get help w/ a gun to put both down. We exchanged pleasantries (or something along those lines) before my male cousin, (SNIP), about a year older than I, grabbed a grenade launcher from their arsenal/stash of weapons, saying he’d take care of it. I stopped him, saying that would only cause damage, and the noise and vision of the smoke would EASILY attract more walkers. He laughed and tried to push his way through, but his parents agreed with me. He put it down and went in search of another. I grabbed a pistol, saying a silence pistol would be best for the job (also mumbling about how I wish I had a pistol to carry around, seeing as my group had run low), but instead my cousin brought out a (what looked liked but probably wasn’t) silenced automatic wep that shot what looked like musket balls. I came out of the house’s backdoor first and at the base of the steps I noticed the white dog had entered into the yard itself, coming from behind the tree that had blocked my view of it. Behind me came my cousin. The dog noticed me & started walking closer, and seeing I couldnt go behind to get to safety, I started running toward my own house, saying to him to shoot the dog off me.The dog was quick, I felt like I wasn’t running very fast, as if time had slowed to a crawl but the beast could still run normally and was quickly catching up.Ish only stood there laughing despite my cries at least until the last minute until the beast was riddled with bullets.I walked up furiously to him and saw a bit of insanity in his eyes.( I felt I should have given him a piece of my mind afterwards).Angered, I grabbed the gun from him and walked over to both the poodle and beast and shot a bullet into boths heads to prevent zombification (the poodle was still alive).I said goodbye and returned to my house.

Inside the house I started to talk with some members until we heard a loud crash from the door below leading to the street. We ran into the stairwell when we noticed a bunch of foul-smelling rags. We picked them up, smelt them, some kind of oil or something, as well as a few bags here and there. We were perplexed until we heard some yelling from members above: we looked out over windows and a small, barricaded balcony to see those zombies I had spied earlier acting strangely to begin pounding to get into the house. We heard a gasp and from behind there was a woman. (even before seeing here someone broke the 4th wall and yelled THAT’S A STATIC CHARACTER! A STATIC CHARACTER!) She was holding one of the rags. She started to talk in a REALLY LOUD VOICE, almost like she was yelling on how… “I HAD NO IDEA ANYONE STILL WERE HERE, I----“ It was fairly obnoxious. The members in that large room opening up to the balcony started to move in on her. I rushed at her, being the closest, and starting to say “Shut up, be quiet or else your going to get us all killed.” She, for some reason, started to fight back but before she could do anything we shoved one of those rags that was most likely hers, into her mouth so she would stop talking and attracting the zombies to our presence.
...But they were attracted to us anyways.

I share one of my short dreams:

A friend of mine organised a cooking competition. It was held in a stadium and there were 2 teams.

My team was cooking noodles and there was no pot or anything provided except for tnt.

So my friend put tnt on the track and places the noodles beside them, hoping that the tnt will cook the noodles.

And a friend of mine from the other team ran into the tnt as it exploded, and he dies.

And apparently I could see the souls of dead people, and my dead friend kicked me. End of story.

I find that it can be helpful to write down my dreams, as it helps me remember them when I sleep again. Occasionally it let's me lucid dream, which is cool.

In one dream I was playing Minecraft when I received a call from a girl I apparently knew as a friend. She wanted to show me her new tattoo. She apparently was some sort of elastic, like Mr. Fantastic, and was able to stretch her body out. I remarked on how cool it would be to have certain tattoos as an elastic. Then we started talking about some sort of website that had blogs but wasn’t exactly Wordpress, Blogger, or Tumblr. It was like each person’s page was their own individual world, and we could customize it infinitely. She and I both had pages on the website. I was randomly hopping through pages when I suddenly was in a game of Minecraft, on someone’s page, I saw this half empty lake and I wanted to fill it up because I had some buckets. I added a few clicks of water, then a voice asked me if I could hear it. After answering yes, it told me to leave immediately, which I did. The dream concluded with me saying goodbye to one of my friends who had become sick of the website. I think it may have been a younger version of one of my college friends.

I've actually got quite a few dreams I remember, and some good ones, as well.

First one's a scary dream, which was actually a night terror for me.

Trapped
As I wake up, I know. I know I am dreaming... Yet, I cannot control anything. I take no effort to.

Looking around, I notice I am in a small town, trapped in an... Iron dome. The place is huge, with quite a bit to explore... But, one thing keeps echoing in my mind:

You will die in just an hour.

I know I'll die, that everyone else will die, and how I'll die: There will be an explosion inside of the dome.

When I look up, I notice a giant digital timer echoing to my doom. When I look around, I see everyone, oblivious to the ensured doom. People passing by, animals doing their thing... While I'm there, freaking out.

I know I'm dreaming, and try my best to wake up. Nothing works.

As the time continues to count down, I continuously attempt to wake myself up before my death.

Time draws near.

The timer hits zero.

The explosion.

... And then, I wake up.
---
I always hated that dream. >, <

I don't think too much about it anymore, as it doesn't scare me as much.

Now... My awesome dreams. For some reason, my dreams like to either play out as video games, or movies. And I mean that in a literal sense. I SWEAR that my dreams ALWAYS* end in a credits scene I can't read, playing some music that doesn't even exist. Even the entirety of the dream is video game/movie like!
*Unless I am woken up before the end of my dream.

Here's one I remember that I quite enjoyed, played out as a video game;

Uphill Struggle
To start off, this whole dream was done in a 3rd person god-mode type of view... Kind of like Shadow of the Colossus, which this dream kind of plays out like. I never played this game before, or had heard of it before this dream... Because I'm that good, apparently.

I play as a warrior of sorts... Maybe a rogue would be a better term. I don't quite remember what my weapon was, but I know for sure I wore leather armor, along with a cape/scarf.

I had a quest, and it was to reach the top of this craggy mountain. I knew of a decent path up the mountain, and immediately traveled upon it.

Along the path, I experienced struggles, such as crumbles in the path, with branches I could swing upon to continue up the path. No enemies, just a casual stroll of parkour and the like.

Eventually, I reached the near-top of the mountain, finding a cave. When I entered the cave, I found a bunch of people. They treated me with kindness, then proceeded to ask me for help. They told me of the dangers of lava from within their cave, and asked if I could inspect it. Being the kind hero I was, I accepted the quest. They led me to the location, but... Things turned out wrong.

Lava spilled out of a wall, rushing in like a wave of rushing water. It burned everyone alive, but I was far away to run away. I ran toward the cave entrance, in which I was brought back into the action of playing the game. Now, I had to rush back down the mountain path, with lava head on my tail.

Midway through the dream, I was woken up for school. This happens all the time... It makes me very sad to wake up in the middle of an awesome dream like this one.

Edit: Honestly, I'm completely fine without the ability to lucid dream. With the way my brain is, sleeping is like watching a movie, with the benefit of a good night's rest. I think I prefer it that way.

Dreamt I was back at my primary school, see a kid run out onto the road, pull him back right before a car hits him. He runs back to his parents who are relieved he's safe. Then suddenly they all turn and look at me, they have no eyes, and they start screaming.

This was last night. I could not sleep afterwards, it scared the heck out of me. Why, brain.

I dream maybe once every two months, and they're only small ones (I could write them in a maximum of one or two paragraphs), so I don't have anything to contribute here. :l
A normal person can dream more than 5 times in 8 hours of sleep! If you're saying that you cannot remember dreaming, you probably can't recall it ;)

When I was a kid, when I encountered a dream that was scary for me, I attempted to roll my eyes in real life to make myself wake.

~~~
I did it so regularly, that one night during a particularly bad dream (can't remember it much) I rolled my eyes again.
Fade to black
Then I "wake" up in the street by my house. My instincts tell me that I'm safe from my nightmare, as I've woken up within the contexts of real life. The details seem real enough for me at this moment. I felt safe knowing that I had woke.
But I was in the street? Wait... I roll my eyes.
My vision sharpens, and suddenly all of the wrong details seem clear to me. A surge of energy runs over me, sending a chill down my spine and preventing my movement.
"HAHAHA! ARE YOU TRYING TO WAKE UP?"
-I heard come echoing from within my mind. The world shook at this voice.
I tried rolling my eyes again. I could feel the pressure against my eyelids, but didn't wake.
I did it again, and again, and again, and kept spinning my eyes. I could feel the voice was humored by my attempts at escape. My fear was intensifying.
One last hard roll.
~~~

I was finally released, it felt like. I didn't try that eye trick anymore.

Haven't posted anything on the forums in a long while, but I want to share this.

THE ALLIGATOR COOKIE DREAM
(it'll make sense later)

So, when the dream starts, I'm sitting in the basement of my house on the couch, and all the lights are off. Nothing is happening. Then, after a second or two of nothing happening, I feel like something is holding me. It pulls me off the ground, and slams me headfirst into the coffee table in front of me.
Or rather, the dream changes just before my head hits.
Next part; weird swirly color background, and Shaggy and Scooby are there. Scooby is in Shaggy's arm, and in his other arm is a cookie.
"That's one scary alligator cookie, Scoob!" - Shaggy
Then, the "alligator cookie" opened its mouth (the cookie splitting in half) and revealed rows and rows of teeth, and seemed to grow more oval. Shaggy threw it in the air and Scooby screamed, "RUH-RO!"
The alligator cookie chomped down on Shaggy's hand.
Then I woke up.
I had this dream when I was 7, and it's still my favorite.

(After 10+ episodes of Attack on Titan in one night) I dreamt that I was in the anime itself. This guy ran up to me and told me two things.
1. The internet explains better than I do.
2. I should try banana pudding.
