The Guardian of Fear's last post
((Naoh requested that I do it for him.))
Takot leaves the cave and looks around, frantic. He scans the horizon, searching for Ross, but sees no trace that Ross was ever there. He hears of panicked cry from inside the cave and gives up on finding Ross for the time being. He runs back inside just as quickly as he left.

((And now I leave the rest to you, Claire1018 ))

((... I think Remilia and Cyra are on that path, atm we can't do much to help with that. Try finding someone who wants to join the RP and be a villain if you want that immediately.))
((they both have specific circumstances and goals, an appropriate analogy being they are like mafia SKs, while I'm basically a lone mafia member))

(( It's the roleplayer's choice. You chose to be evil, no one else did. Not meaning this harshly, but that's just too bad that no one else wanted to be an antagonist. ))

((true, but to maintain an actual balance in the planet's state my abilities should ideally be able to compensate for the allies i don't have))

(( Not necessarily, you don't need allies when you're an antagonist and you certainly don't need powers that exceed others'. To balance the planet's state you do not need an antagonist, we could have gone on with the roleplay with everyone being good, but snapping once in a while. An antagonist isn't essential, but it's nice to have at least one (there's no real need for there to be more) and you just happened to be the only one who was an antagonist from the start. ))

((Jivs isn't the only opposing force here, so is Corruption .-. It certainly builds up on tension as well, right?))
((Yes but Jivvi is evil from the start. And we've been thinking of getting rid of jivvi. But if Claire decapitates him that means claire is definitely evil from now on (Rememberdecapitationwasajokeokay) you know what. SEND IN THE MARINES.))

And we've been thinking of getting rid of jivvi
Wait what? When did we talk about getting rid of Jivvi? o.o The only thing I've seen is to tone down some of his powers which are OP ( even if they are the only evil guardian in their eyes, no excuse for OP powers \o/ ) and to edit some of things he's done so it fits better into the story.
I personally hope we don't remove Jivvi, he makes the story more interesting since if the world is really peaceful, things will get done in no time then the RP will be over quickly, which I hope doesn't happen since it's fun c: ))

(( screw you im still going to mug someone and blame you cause its dark everywhere so i can withdraw the darkness creating light this is perfectly realistic physics guys ))
((Erm. No. If there's no darkness that doesn't mean there's light. You can't do this with a goddamn boolean variable damnit. If there's no darkness but no light either then that means there's a limbo of nothing.))

((You know Jivvi, you could have easily been an effective villain in the story without the use of godly powers no other being can match. It's called stealth, and it's bet served with a side of intelligence.
So far, you've been taking the protagonists on in what I consider to be the most boring approach possible: brute force.
Brute force is also very wasteful and can be easily defeated by a good plan.

All though I am curious if giving a character intelligence and creativity counts as giving them an extra power.

Oh, and P.S.
don't bother trying to find another "clever" way of calling me a hypocrite and telling me to shut up at the same time because that's essentially what you've done about every other time I commented on your characters power and believe me, I've been looking for ways to tone down my characters "excessive" power [and somewhat successfully] since you essentially removed me from the RP temporarily one month ago.

((This again?! Stop it, this isn't supposed to be a thread full of arguments, it's roleplay. Guys, this isn't a group VS group thread, this is supposed to be about molding the world. Yeah, sure, the Guardians go rogue multiple times and make the roleplay more interesting, plus multiple other incidents occur including possible intruders from outer space, but that is not the main point of the thread. Stop it. The conflict is supposed to stay within the roleplay, not go full-blown over the OOC. Address every issue you have immediately even if it's extremely obvious at this point and/or is actually reasonable at this point and if this keeps up this goes to a PM.))

(( Time to add some more RP ))

The brown cloaked man stumbles down the muddy plains, hand in pain from the feather which was still stuck in and mentally scarred by the horror he just remembered. An issue the Guardian of Fauna had, no matter what world (or at least he thinks) cannot materialise animals out of thin air - there must either already be animals for them to fully express their power over animals or they must use evil, disgraceful methods to create them.

Throughout history on several planets mysterious and creepy, typically old, people would talk about magic. Of course, since there was obviously a Guardian of Magic, they were true. How they found out? Not many know, many believe it was just tales passed down generations by the very first humans on the planet who witnessed the Guardians work their powers, including the arcane. Now... as everyone knows, due to the Guardian of Darkness, not all Guardians are good and not all magic Guardians were good either. They would not follow the norm of good or neutral but would follow the dark paths, blood magic.

Obviously, although bad and not advised, blood magic had it's pros and cons (the most notable con being the fact you had to sacrifice blood!) and amongst those list of pros there was also transmutation, turning one thing into another. Is this possible with other kind of magic? Perhaps, but they had to be from spells which only people with lots of arcane knowledge could compose but creating animals or any living being was very, very high tiered, something only people with natural magic in their blood could do really.

Unfortunately Fauna was not new to these methods as he had just learnt in the reminder he had just had. Unlike before though, this time Fauna didn't need to just make one or two - he needed to make several hundreds and then they could develop the species by themselves! Armed with some basic knowledge of blood magic Fauna only knew a few things: You need an altar, a weapon to sacrifice blood in and several ingredients (including a sacrifice) Now this wasn't going to be easy, Fauna knew next to nothing, from what he could recall, about blood magic! He accepted the sad truth in which he would need help and there was only one person: The Guardian of Magic, or as Fauna liked to call him, the Guardian of Fancy dress. Now, this Guardian wasn't evil nor seemed to dabble with dark magics at all so getting the answers out of him wouldn't be easy.

Calm and focused Fauna knew he had to get the answers out of 'Magic', whether willingly or forced however, like his knowledge of Blood Magic, Fauna knew nothing about the Guardian - not even his name! Fauna contemplated his ingredients. Altar? Hm, he could make a basic one out stone from the cave and perhaps the red rock from the portal... Chalk was also necessary but several other things would help boost the process. A basic blade could be made from stone. Ingredients would change for different things. A sacrifice... the only option was himself unless he used another Guardian but he wasn't evil.

It wasn't going to be easy but if he didn't do this then he would be useless in this world. The hairy Guardian knelt down and splashed water on the dirt, turning it into mud and then burying the feather. The top of the feather was visible which would mark his new place of operations. Scared, confused but determined, he walked back to the cave with a clear vision in his head. He had to, he just had to.

(( oh snap ))

Guardian of Life

Life yawns, still on her side curled into a ball on the ground. She opens her eyes slowly, peacefully, but her peace only lasts a moment as the memories of a few moments before invade her mind. She jolts up, looking at the place she remembered Hope lying. Still there. In the same state as before. She looks around to see others. That nether girl and someone I don't think I've seen before. The water guy is lying on the ground.. asleep? How long was I unconscious? I must have drifted off.. She thought, silently observing the group. Briefly, Life considers walking over to them but immediately decides to sit where she was and watch.
The Guardian of Hope

His eyes opened as quickly as his dilated pupils widened. The remnants of the same fiery nightmare ebbed from the edges of his mind. This time the frightening dream was different; the flames were green. He did not dwell long on it as the nightmare began to fade. The boyish man attempted to sit up but found his chest resisted the movement as it shot painful reactions through his body. He gasped a guttural groan and fell back down again. The man's leather jacket shot small puffs of dust around him. Hope did not notice the Guardian of Life almost beside him nor the world around him. He was just trying to collect himself and remember what just happened previously. His memory was a little muddled on what Cyra had said to cause whatever magics she had used. He wished her to be unharmed. Hope coughed for a few seconds as the back of his throat became dry.

Guardians of Corruption, Clouds, Ground, and Wind
Skri'ik walks up to Airis, after analyzing him from a distance. "Salutations. I am Skri'ik, and with me is Liro-" he said, signaling to Liro "-and Cyra." He signed to Cyra. He decided to get straight to the point; the faster he learned what happened here, the better. "Who are you, and what exactly happened with the portal here? We are seeking the answers to these questions."

[BCOLOR=#ffffff]*Airis stares at both of the guys*[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#ffffff]"It's nice to meet you, Skri'ik and Liro. My name's Airis. Apparently I'm the Wind Guardian."[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#ffffff]*He stops to look at Endal*[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#ffffff]"Well, I'm not an expert about what's happening right now. All I know is Endal, which is the Guardian of Magic, is trying to seal this portal right here. I haven't been told much yet. If you need to know more about it you should ask Endal."[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#ffffff]"Also, are you both Guardians as well?"[/BCOLOR]

Skri'ik looked at Airis, slightly disappointed. All he had learned was what guardians were here - Wind and Magic. He had learned that the portal was once open, and now it was closed - meaning it posed no threat to the area. But what was the portal's purpose? What exactly happened with Remilia here?
He responded to Airis. "You are correct, we are guardians just like you." He changed the subject, not wanting to reveal their elements. He peered at Endal. "He seems to be exhausted - was the sealing of the portal this taxing on him?"

Liro observed Airis. Isn't it a bit cold to not be wearing a shirt? He thought to himself. He just waved to Airis after Skri'ik answered his question. He looked over to Endal, who seemed to be passed out after closing the portal. Wow, the portal must have been really powerful if it did that to the Guardian of Magic, or is he just weak? He thought.
Liro leaned against the wall. He put his hand on the side and it suddenly felt as if the wall was an extension of himself. He attempted to pull the wall backwards but instead made a small spike. "Interesting..." He muttered under his breath. Puzzled, he tried to push the spike back into the wall. The ground seemed to have shaped as he wanted it to this time. He scratched his head. 'I'll figure out more about this later...' he thought.

"I'm sorry if I'm not much of a help to provide you with the information you need. I was just told to fly Endal and Remilia from the crater to this cave. Since they needed to get here as soon as possible."
*Airis looks Liro placing his hand on the wall*"Hmm. Are you like some kind of Ground Guardian?"
*He then looks at Skri'ik*"And what about you? What type of Guardian are you?"

Cyra leaned against the cave wall. She didn't bother to participate in the conversation. Her face probably showed that, too. Then she heard... footsteps?

Skri'ik decided that for co-operation, he couldn't withhold his element. "I'm the Guardian of Clouds, and I awoke recently. I seek to learn of this world."
He peered at Endal again. "Perhaps we should accompany him and wait for him to wake up? Someone could strike him while he is not awake, which could be fatal. Then we can all ask him what happened here, and all learn knowledge."
Knowledge. His hunger thirsted ever more at the mention of that word. The power he savoured, more than any other power... knowledge. He hoped Endal would wake up soon.

"Guardian of Clouds huh? That sounds interesting."
*Airis stopped to think for a second*"Well, I don't really remember anything about my past. I woke up here just knowing my name. I can't remember my life before this. If I had family or friends. I still don't know what my objective is in this mysterious place. I guess we all need to have patience for now."
*He then looks at Endal*"Yes, think we should wait and talk to him. I'm sure there's a lot we'll learn from him".

The footsteps faded from her head. As the creatures talked, an unfamiliar feeling slowy crept into her head. Corruption. Companions. What is this? Cyra looked around her surroundings. Corrupt. What did you do to Hope and Life? Corrupt. Stop the voice! You monster! Her heartbeats sped up. You're useless. Your powers will disappear. She grabbed her head. The cave started spinning. Corrupt. Guilt. Companions. No! Stop the voices! What's happening? A new voice? Tears ran down her face. Panic was rising in her throat. She couldn't breathe. Corrupt. Is she losing her sanity? Guilt. Fear. Pure black fear. Nothing else mattered. Stop it!

The cave continued to spin.
The voices chanted.
Her heart sped faster.
Pure adrenalin ran in her blood vessels.

Fear.

Her legs suddenly useless, Cyra fell to the ground. Guilt. She looked down at her shaking hands through her tears. Fear. Then she saw him, standing at the entrance to the room.

The Guardian of Fear. She knew it. No one needed to tell her that her fear and guilt came from this man dressed in black. Corrupt. Corruption. The answer was clear. Corruption is her job. No one can make her afraid to corrupt. No one should make her feel guilty. He needed to die. He is merely an obstacle. Her eyes burning with rage, she stood up with new strength. Luckily she did not use her powers on the creatures she met after her last use of corruption. She knew it. She can kill the Guardian of Fear. She can remove any trace of fear and guilt. The Guardian of Fear? He will perish from this newly founded world. At least, this form of him will. He will die. Die!

With her hands clenched, she stalked towards the Guardian of Fear. Her calculating eyes scanned the creature. She grabbed his neck and slammed his head against the rough cave wall. His eyes widened in shock and fear. Ha! The Guardian of Fear is afraid!

"Wha-" he managed to mutter.

She could see blood staining the cave wall. But no, he's not going to die like that. Plain physical injury? Ha! That's a bit pathetic for an all-mighty Guardian, no? She tilted her head and smiled at the pathetic creature.

"You have no right to make me afraid! I am corruption!" Her voice turned to a shout.

Now he dies!

Not flinching, she stared straight into the Guardian of Fear's eyes. Her eyes flashed as she smiled. Corrupt! Corrupt everything! She could feel every bit of her aspect invading and destroying the creature. She could feel his body turning into... something that is not quite flesh. She could feel his mind turning inside-out. He screamed. Music to her ears! She felt his life ebb away. Exhausted again, she dropped his corpse and sat on the ground. She stared blankly at the dead creature. All she felt was apathy and a dying rage. An imbalance in the system. The opposite aspect to Hope is dead. Dead. Gone.

For the first time in a long time, the voice in her head did not chant 'Corrupt'.

[BCOLOR=#ffffff]Guardian of Life[/BCOLOR]

She watched the conversation a metre or so away before she heard a groan come from beside her. He started coughing, a dry, dehydrated cough. I should get him some water. Zwn tries to stand but finds all her strength had been sapped from her and she sits back down with a thunk. A throbbing pain settles itself in her head and she cramps up. "Hope needs water.." She coughs, atleast trying to alert the water guardian himself. She freezes, unable to move and falls onto her back, sharp pain going through her mind and spine. She hits the ground with a thud and a soft groan before she falls unconscious.
