Okay in all my experience, when people are under pressure in mafia games and just say 'I'm town I swear!' (I did this too, you're not the only one) , they're generally mafia. Don't know what it is, but just proclaiming town over and over (like you've done) gives me a slight more of a mafia vibe of you.
I had a lot more written but it got deleted so I"ll hopefully remember what I wrote and do that tonight

Just a random thought while reading and thinking the last few pages over; am I the only person whom is bothered by this? Even chicken's vote gave an explanation (somewhat) but this is literally just saying "I'm going to bandwagon and lynch this person without even bothering to give an opinion with my vote." Maybe it's just me, but I'm keeping a note of this for now.
Alpha you kinda forgot me on the no lunch (although It doesn't really matter at this point). I feel as if iggy has been playing maybe a little too newbish. Either his posts seemed sarcastic and in a way nonchalant and non caring or they seemed to provide little to no info (no offence iggy). Although I won't vote right now I may be last one to vote for the lynch or close to. Also, although some people (like myself) may seem bandwagony there are certain points pointed out that other people share and no one likes to repeat something from someone else twice (or even worse thrice) although I agree with samlen that no one should just straight out say something like "k I'm gonna bandwagon now because I can". I'm off to bed so no reply for a while.

I'm not sure whether I should unvote and join the bandwagon or not, seeing as, while I found people's points reasonable to some degree, I've also been thinking along the lines of what Erik just said.

My standpoint is that Iggy's first post seems to be taking advice from mafia teammates literally; standard advice along the lines of 'don't draw too much attention and try and shift the weight into a no-lynch
(Provided mafia can communicate by day)
It could also be an agent/spy sort of role that can send messages to specific roles or players, which would affirm a shorter, straighter advice phrase, rather than a conversation which would allow a more solid understanding to be formed
Also Fiestaguy were we given confirmation ad to the inclusion/exclusion of bastard roles, or were we left in the dark?

Several things:
1) I don't think Mafia have day talk, though it's not impossible. Personally, I don't think they even know who each other are.
2) Having day actions in a forum mafia game is somewhat difficult to moderate, so I think that makes the sheep more unlikely to put it into his game.
3) I see no reason why he would tell us one way or another. Personally, I prefer not to tell my players when there are bastard roles present, simply to mess with them. I have a feeling that the sheep feels similarly.
As far as day actions and day chats go. There's a huge difference between leaving a chat open during the day and needing to execute an action in the middle of the day. The hotel chats in the bloody masquerade were open day and night and they ran pretty smoothly
Also I'm starting to rethink the Iggy thing. The reason being I've been just reasoning arguments making everyone seem innocent to me. More importantly with new players making a lot of new player mistakes will town tell at least once or twice. So why isn't Iggy town telling in the slightest? If I remember correctly the precious game everyone's referencing with coolio coolio was town telling a lot and the arguments were that she was trying to town tell too hard (that and she fought really aggressive while doing it ). For some reason what Iggy has said hasn't come off too suspicious to me, but it's disturbing to not see a single town tell. I'll think things over and then re-read.
