"I need to do it. For my sister. I can't risk Light hurting her or even... killing her. I need to find a way to cure him. Just please, don't tell Alouette or Light or anyone I'm doing this."

*He looks at the floor*

"Death, in case I don't come back just tell Alouette that I love her."

*Airis stares directly at Death*

"I'm ready. Let's get this over with"

Hearing that, she looks at her brother. "Airis, you heard him! Please don't do this, it's too dangerous..."
She swallows. "If you di- don't come back, it would have been pointless, anyway; we'd still be where we are now, just with the addition of one more de- missing Guardian."
She won't say it; she can't say it. 'What if you die there...?'
Her forehead creased with worry, she stares straight at the back of his head. "Please, don't do this..."

Death listens to Airis and the unfamiliar person. "Im going to open the way in, the rest is up to you." He swirls his scythe in a circular path creating a circular doorway into seemingly endless darkness. He looks at the both of them. "Im going to keep it open, I can keep it open for a good hour or so, so make a choice." He plants his scythe in the ground so that it stays there and straight up and sits next to it.

Alouette stares into the doorway, into the deep blackness, and she feels truly afraid. Swallowing hard, she looks again at Airis, a chill spreading from the center of her chest all the way to her toes and finger. "Airis, please, you can't do this..."

"Alouette" *Airis said while grabbing her hand*

"We've tried everything. Nothing has worked so far. I know you two love each other. You deserve to be happy. I'll be fine. Don't you worry about me."

*Suddenly he has an idea*

"Alouette, Life has a tome and I do too. We can communicate through that. Even if I can't come back I'll b able to tell you how to cure Light. But let's hope for the best. Please, you know Light needs our help."

"But what if you don't even find out before-" her voice is dry and whispery and cuts out before she can even finish, but her meaning is clear. "I don't want to lose you..."
Her hands are shaking, her eyes filling with tears. "If you're gone, it's not really worth it..."
Suddenly, it comes to her, and though the thought scares her, she says it anyway.
"What if I come with you? Safety in numbers, right..?"

(( CaffeinatedKitty Airis is not letting you go with him . BUT you should go to the portal after I enter first. Then after we're both inside, the portal will close. That way you can't go back and we'll be stuck there. So there won't be any other option rather than work together anf find Light's cure. What do you think? ))​

Her voice rising, tears pricking at her eyes, she doesn't back down. "I don't want stay here, knowing that you're in danger because of me!"
Swallowing against a cry, she doesn't look away. "I'm not just going to sit back and watch you go!"

"Alouette, I know you're strong and you can take care of yourself... It's just you're always going to be my little sister. You are my priority. That's why I want to help Light, because I know how much you care about him. I want you to be happy. Please, let me do this alone."

Her emotions are real, but she's thinking, 'I'm going to follow him... I can't let him go alone.'

Takot yawned and stretched his arms. He looked up and fell off the rock he'd been sitting on. "Uhhh Ross? Is it just me, or is the sky getting grey? Will it just make up it's mind?!"

"Eh, I don't know. I don't pay much mind to the sky. I know it was hot and bright when Az summoned me. Which reminds me. Will you go with me to seek a body of water? I can't just make them out of nowhere you know...Well...Not anymore anyway."

*Airis then turns to see Death*

"Death, Life has that tome Frost gave us a while back. So in case you need to tell me something or the other way around, just use that. I have the other tome."

*Airis then turned to hug Death*

"You know, you were my first friend I made here. Thanks for your help"

*He walks towards the portal. He turns around one last time and waves goodbye. He then was gone in a matter of seconds*

Guardian of Corruption

It wasn't Endal's hand, huh? Is it Fauna's? Or some other Guardian? Liro started talking with the creature once more. Perhaps if they just wait, the creature will recover. Hmm.

((Will put in the 10 page summary tomorrow

Spoiler: Pages 101-110

Clouds, Ground, and Life decided to go investigate the collapsed cave. (Ground felt the collapse.) The light figure turns out to be another form of Light, who tried to get rid of his corruption. Wind, Light, and Flight met with Clouds, Ground, and Life. Corruption approached the group, wanting to protect Nether before they reach her. Clouds noticed and tried to attack Corruption. In the process, he was corrupted, which twisted his sense of justice. He struck the weakened Nether with lightning, which was followed by a mysterious explosion. Meanwhile, the sky darkened after Sky's companions, Fauna and Magic, died. Fear revealed that he has a double personality, which is his aspect and Guardian self. Clouds started torturing and interrogating Corruption, but Ground intervened. Clouds got magic taint after his repetitive use of magic, and escaped. Ground followed Corruption. After a short battle, they headed towards where Nether was struck. They found that she had died (Semi-dead, spirit powers). Light had problems with his two selves. Corruption and Ground proceeded to investigate the cave. They encountered Sky, who was dazed by the sudden deaths. Corruption and Ground found the other Fear's hand and Magic's cloth. Wind summoned Death, who opened a portal to his scythe for Wind to help Light get rid of his magic taint.

That hand...

Whose is it?

Her first thought of Fauna (crushed by a boulder, blood splattered with a bone-crushing crack) and knew that it couldn't be his. He... He was too far from the entrance for his hand to appear there.

And then she remembered a corpse, stuck farther within the cave, and though she knew it was more illogical...

It looked similar to this hand.

"That corpse," she said finally. "It looked... I think this hand belongs to that corpse."

Cyra rolled her eyes.
"Yes, that corpse. That is really specific."
She turned to Liro, who seemed like he was about to start firing questions again, then looked back at the sky.

"The corpse in the cave," Himinn clarified. "The one that isn't..."

She choked the oncoming bile down. "The one that isn't Fauna."

As Airis disappears through the portal, she looks around, rubbing her eyes to clear her vision. Taking just another moment--wasting time, how long will it stay open--she runs back to Light, kissing his cheek and saying, "Love you."
And then, disregarding almost everything her brother had said, she turns back and follows him, through the darkness and into the unknown.
