Ross thought about his orb, but Takot wouldn't be able to use that. He guessed he could use the orb and pass off the trident....But he had grown an attachment to his weapon..."I have an idea."

Ross knelt down on the ground and withdrew his orb and started pouring water onto the ground. Ross put his hand into the stream and as the water came in contact with his hand it froze. After a few minutes of freezing and melting, Ross had forged a weapon for his friend. Glacial in hardness and with a razor edge, the short sword glistened as Ross handed it off. "I've forged it so that it is resistant to heat and melting as well as shattering. Though I wouldn't recommend holding onto it for too long with your bare hand. Unless of course, you want your hand to freeze."

((She can be a spirit or outdweller just as well, spirits are the souls of a deceased. What if there's a queue with spirits waiting to take the Guardian of Fire spot? What if she comes on the planet in another way this becoming an outdweller? It's honestly what she finds best.))

"Hm. Tell you what, I'll explore the ship myself, so if there's any trouble, you two are safe. After all, I'm already dead, so I doubt I can die once more, or even get hurt at all, for that matter. You two stay up here and keep an eye on where the ship's going."

Endal could already feel the frustration that Alouette was beaming in every direction for being left behind to a safe location, but it didn't seem like she had enough strength left to try and argue any more. Airis, while strong and definitely wearing too little, had to get tired of carrying Alouette around at some point. Since Endal was a ghost, it didn't seem like he had to worry about stamina or injuries, so going alone seemed like the best option for him for the moment.

"...well that's encouraging. Let's see about this." Takot pulled his arm a bit back in his coat, then pushed finger holes in his sleeve. "That works! Kinda like a 'fingerless glove' you might say. And it's tough enough that I can't feel the chill too much."

Takot swung the sword randomly, almost chopping off Ross' head. "Uh, yeah. I'm going to need some practice..."

As he ducked, Ross saw the pile of leftovers from when he forged the blade. He scraped them up together and employed a similar method to form a five foot tall pillar of ice. He didn't put nearly the amount of care into the target as he did the blade, so it was rather crude and easily broken, but it would do for a target dummy. "There. Have at that, not my head."

"Are you quite sure you can't die twice...?" While she certainly isn't an expert on the subject of death, she's not at all sure he's safe. "Airis, what do you think about this?"

"But isn't the point of a sword to try to kill someone? Oh well, at least you're armed now. Let's go find Fear." So as not to leave any landmarks, Ross helped the pillar to melt. It would have done so on its own sooner or later, but better safe than sorry.

Nervous, she tries not to fidget. "That at least is a good idea." Restless fingers tapping on her knee, she keeps an eye on Endal. "Just... Try not to die again?" Unsure of what else to say, she falls silent.

"Okay, will do." Endal left the pair behind as he stepped into the ship that was now moving. It was rather dark inside, but that was expected. There were some perks to being a ghost, though, since Endal could see the interior clearly. The first floor- no, ships didn't have floors... deck, perhaps?- was empty and Endal could find almost nothing useful, although the kitchen had some knives that could be used as a weapon, if necessary.

The second deck wasn't as useless. Endal was pleased to discover the ship doctor's office there. It took ony seconds for that pleasure to turn to annoyance, though, since the ghost, lacking a physical body other than that made of smoke and mist, found himself unable to open the door. Well, that's just bloody wonderful, isn't it?

He rushed back up to report to Airis, who'd perhaps be able to actually open the door and get the supplies they needed.
