I've made my position clear that I want someone lynched as long as they're not a power role, and have been lynch happy with pretty much everyone so far anyway.

a) get them to contribute so I can get a read on them

there's going to be 2-4 scum (most likely 3) and most people are going to be town. i'd probably prefer a no lynch, but that's pretty bad reasoning

also people are talking about masons a lot but we can't know there's a mason at all

If Fantome was actually town, he has proven active enough to help in future lynches.
Ernie's inactivity could be a trend, and even if Ernie was town, it's possible he wouldn't help in future lynches.
