I agree with your reads but you decided to be in favour of a massclaim before anyone had claimed yet, but from what I gather you're assuming people would claim even if the majority was against a massclaim and so you decided since some people would claim you may as well support everyone doing it. It's kinda weird to me how you'd assume that, and also how your reason before was just that you were sick of repeating yourself (even though you'd only said it once iirc) and now your reason is different?

i said i'd claim if majority claimed

then i went ahead and changed my mind because some people had already claimed and others had expressed support so i didn't want the massclaim dying with like 3 townies claiming and promptly getting murdered for it in the coming night because that would've been the worst outcome imo

but i am obviously playing more erratically than i perhaps have in the past and that's partly because i can't put in the hours worth of effort every day that i could in the past games and partly because i don't think it helps much this early in the game

Wow wtf even when I reread my quote my brain added a “unless you guys want me to check someone” to my quote. Also I targeted Aqua as they seemed a little icky about claiming and stuff and I kinda lost time and didn’t really have time to think about potential targets. On top of that, I asked if, once I chose a day target, whether or not I could change it later, and apparently I can, yay!

tbf that would make sense as otherwise it would really dick players with low coins.

I think a simple solution to finding out if he's telling the truth is to poll how many players have above/below 150 coins

if very few have above then he'll definitely be lying.

not necessarily since the mafia absorb people's coins when they kill them so maybe his role is designed to aim at mafia/raxo

If he has a survival wincon as well his role seems doubly unrealistic.

there are 22 players in this game. I'd assume 5 are mafia and 1 is raxo (I hope)

it's a 1/4-5 chance he finds scum and assuming they start below 150, it won't matter if he finds them early.

then there's a chance the one player he finds with 150+ coins dies he then needs to find someone else.

the raxo thing is dumb and sheer RNG unless raxo were to claim so I find that unbelievable too.

his extra wincon seems too unrealistic unless a majority of players are above 150 and with the fact he can just afk til the end and win I really struggle to believe it.

also if he is telling the truth, he can still harm townies thus lynching him would still be the right thing to do.

I would still like to poll who has more than 150 gold and who doesn't as it could be resourceful info for town to have.

Because I think everyone needs a small maths puzzle now and then:

Difficulty: 1/5
Normally my destroy action is 3 times as expensive as day inspect. But because of the eps my destroy ability is 4 times as expensive as my day action
