What do you mean by being unable to vote for them?
Like if you make a deal with the devil he can't vote for you?
That just seems like straight upside for the sinner and the opposite of what we should expect.
I don't think that the rejection is anything more than "This side of the deal is not beneficial to me right now."
I mean for the devil to reject the deal, it makes me think that there could be consequences for them aswell?

Wdym "sure?", I'm trying to reaffirm how your convoluted DWTD works - ur the one who supposedly has the role ?
If my deal had been accepted I would have got the ability from tonight (single use)

so don't you think maf could've just been given the sinner role info and alisha claimed it even though she's the devil or something?
I don't think so. I don't really understand why people are so fixated on that either, sure it's possible that they were given the information, but I really don't think it's probable. I mean, "here's the most common town role in the setup, go forth with your easy fakeclaim." It wouldn't make sense to me to not at least make them work for it.
Timdood3 Alisha thoughts on my only one DWTD can be made per night theory?
I don't think we have enough information to really consider it. I think we'd need a better understanding of the consequences before concluding that.

I don't think so. The whole idea of the devil is making deals that will benefit him in the end, typically the very long run. He wouldn't make or take a deal that isn't explicitly good for him.

Agreed with everything except this first post - hard disagree, coming up with an effective fake claim this game would be a nightmare so their best shot is to blend in with the sinners, think republic.

Further they'd need a considerable amount of info into the role in order to carry out the deals themselves otherwise why would they ever accept the deals if they didn't know how they worked.

i mean, what aqua said, but also, if you think one of the scum are a sinner themselves, surely you think they get an easy fakeclaim anyways since theyd get all that info through the sinner scum? just not every single scum on day 0 i guess since theyd have to wait for that scum to share it with the others that night, but if you believe they get it night 1 it doesn't seem too far-fetched for you to believe they get it day 0 as well?

why do you think maf have a sinner by the way?

I'm a bit confused by this, as you said you feel Alisha is mafia (which I will admit I'm starting to get more suspicious of especially as she seems to be trying to form a connection between me and her).
Yet she was the first to claim - and she also knew what the deals were?

Infected_alien8_ thoughts on a massclaim today?
i don't think we need to? massclaiming will just eliminate a few PRs from the lynch pool but possibly prevent them from getting further actions in, and we have plenty of decent leads/mislynches left so i don't think it's necessary yet

why are you considering it?

I wasn't around for republic. Haven't even read the game.

I think I've made pretty clear my thoughts on this already: I think the devil is excluded from the mafia chat and the information they get regarding deals is "X player wants to make a deal for X power." Pretty straightforward.

Assuming all actual town sinners have claimed there's nothing left to lose - would force any unclaimed maf to fake claim or join the sinner pool.

Would probably be more advantageous for town now mafia knows who most/all our sinners are

I don't necessarily, but it's a possibility we shouldn't discount. Plus the fact that the mail ability doesn't make a lot of sense for a townie, but it could be useful for a mafia sinner to get a message to the devil.
Timdood3 if you think maf have their own sinner role is there something that would differentiate the roles?

Do you have a specific role name like Bob the Sinner or Town Sinner or some other prefixed nomenclature?
I do have a specific name.

I never said that. I said her being a sinner is not indicative of her being town.
