You'll be needing their Mii, is all. Unless they have Tomodachi, then you can get the QR Code for their character on Tomodachi~

I'm interested in Pokemon X/Y and Mario Golf World Tour right now. I'm seriously looking forward to [Super]Secret Bases in Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, I think those have online functionality through QR codes. I'll definitely play that game and Smash Bros 3DS when they come out.
Is there a way to get notifications on the 3DS if someone else has added you? That would be very helpful. I don't follow this thread very closely, so a tag also works!

I'd have tagged you in an edit of my previous post, but you have to have the most awkward symbol at the beginning of your name, so...
When I say ratings, I mean to rate you post, such as rating it "Winner" or something, as to show you that we have added you on our friends list via 3DS.
I was suggesting this due to the fact it takes less time to do than setting up a message on your profile, and doesn't take up a spot on your profile page.
Sorry if I was to sound confusing previously.
