Alpha/Beta event server

With people now being able to select older alpha or beta versions in the launcher, it's become a lot easier to downgrade. Just wanted to see people's opinions on it, so... Thoughts?

I want alpha event, preferably that one, where Jabjabjabs SMP started - a1.0.15 or a1.0.16 to see how SMP in its infancy looked.

Well, minecraft is better now than before, atleast in my opinion. If anything alpha could be fun just to check it out.

Alpha and the like are pretty boring in my opinion, and some versions are extremely resource heavy for some reason; I'd get around 1-2 fps on some old alpha-beta versions, which is terrible!

I would like to see an event server of around that period however, perhaps before major updates or before sprint? :)

I'd love a server before the introduction of Hunger.
PvP Combat differed so greatly; it'd be great to have a taste of the days of instant healing, unstackable food, and spammed arrows.

I would love to check out the old versions.

And, hell, if someone, ANYONE, has the old server maps, I would love you even more if those turned into events. Just walking around that one map with Silvervale and Lantern would be awesome.

I'm so used to sprinting, inventory management and all that stuff from the new updates that I think I'd at least take half an hour to get used to the early alpha and beta versions xD

I think it may be singleplayer, because I've used MVC before. I am not sure but I am mostly betting 100% on it only for single player

Becauae Minecraft Version Cahngers are usually for singleplayer jar files and not for multiplayer server files. So I was asking if the jars that it offers were for SP or MP.

Well, it has jars for almost all previous minecraft versions (SSP) but also has quite a few server jars. Here's some statistics:
