What is Astoria?
Astoria is a town in the land of Aeres. It is located in the south-east of the map. The town is not finished yet but some people have already decided to live there. The buildings don't have a certain scheme, although I would describe it as medieval style. New buildings just have to look good.
Why join Astoria?
Astoria is for both - new players, who like to get their adventure started and build their house in a environment with other people and players who already own a house but want to build themselves a residence for their holidays etc.
There are several good reasons to spend a few days, or even your whole Primordia life in Astoria:
-Friendly and helpful neighbours
-New players get all help they need to get their adventure started
-Public enchantment tables, brewing stations etc.
-Awesome buildings you can't stop looking at (not all of our plans realized yet, working on a temple atm)
-No general scheme. Build whatever you want as long as it fits in.
-No need to walk! Jump in the family portal and take the railroad to our town (not finished, very soon to come)
-Have your new friends just a few steps away. Our members like to go mining, mob-hunting, etc. together in groups. There are little timeframes no Astorian is online and you will almost ever find a friend for your next adventure.
-Having way too much cobblestone but searching for wood? No problem. In Astoria we like swapping. There are also public chests that are used for the town you can take small amounts of stuff from.
-Looking for a safe way of storing your stuff? Astoria has a public vault protected by maybe the hardest lock on server. Nearly unbreakable.
-Crafters welcome! Under the town there expands a huge mineshaft. Some areas have not been explored yet and rare ores wait for you to be found. There is also a huge ravine in the north to explore and level up while mining.
-Get your swords ready! The untouched nature around Astoria is a natural mob spawning area. A lot of mobs join the fun every night and make sure you level up quickly.
-PVP is fun! Sometimes the inhabitants of Astoria just want to know who is better in PVP. We like to have small battles and test our new skills or weapons. Although this happens to you only if you want it and we do not hurt us without asking before.
No matter if you are a silent rogue sneaking over the roofs, a brave paladin or a skillful crafter, in Astoria you will find people who share your passion and you can have loads of fun with.
How to get there?
At the moment we are building up the minecart track. Until it is not finished you can reach us by leaving Portus in the east and following the signs. There is a lighted footpath that leads to the town.
How to become a member of Astoria?
Currently crimson1780 and me are the mayors of Astoria. If you want to join, send us a message, in forum or ingame and we will provide you all the information neccessary and show you a place to build your house.
