My mom might be getting me a new computer, so I have some questions to ask first just so I have some knowledge ahead of time.

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/PT.SJWP2.001

Current price: $378.98 (note, this is a Walmart exclusive variant)

What I primarily want to know are,
1. Is this a good price for the specs of it? (pole)
2. What modern Video games should this be able to handle?
3. Do you have any better recommendations for a gaming computer? *note: I do have friends who can put together a computer, but I'd be more comfortable having it in one piece when bought.

I've built better for less.

With this, you can play:
World of Warcraft
Source Engine games on lower settings
Minecraft on lowest settings
You sure about that? My sister has the computer and minecraft runs perfectly fine max settings. (as far as I can tell, and the reason why i'm asking what it could run and not just test it on her's is because she's an ass and all that mean stuff)
Just to tell you that windows 8 is coming out so hold on maybe
Not worried about the running system in all honesty. :|

Hmm, I personally would spend a bit more on a gaming rig, but at the same time it's your mom's computer. I personally think it is a fine computer, but if you ever wanna upgrade into a better computer, then I would be kind of worried, since of the power supply. Anyways, If your just gonna use it for lower powered games, or non demanding games, then it should be fine! (Like agent 2749 said, I could make a much better computer for around the same price.)
