Cool activities and locations?

[BCOLOR=#b3e8e4]It would be really cool if we added to the RPG aspects of this server since not all of us enjoy just raiding and PvP-ing.[/BCOLOR]

So here are some of those activities and locations that could accommodate them:


1- A Sports Stadium

• Hosting up to three 1 vs 1 fights, one day a week [i.e. every Friday at a certain time] in between different clans with awards to the winning player.
• Fighters are awarded the same gear and weapon before entering arena. A referee must be present.
• No potions allowed.
• A PvP-free zone for spectators with available food stands and intruder proof portals [maybe with the use of plugins] to go back home.

2- A Casino

• Get a good casino plugin.
• PvP free zone of course. We come to bet our hard earned ores, not to fight.
• If the casino plugin requires some sort of economy, ores can be used to exchange through a 'sell and buy' shop.
• Example: On a good day, you enter with 3 diamonds. You exchange the 3 diamonds for 300 points.
  You play 3 games worth 50 points each. You now used 150 points, but in the last game you got jackpot and won 400 points. You now go back to the exchange hub and re-buy your diamonds, but this time you leave with 5 diamonds and 50 remaining points in your casino balance, since each diamond costs 100. Is that understandable? I hope so.
• On a bad day? eh.. you lost 3 diamonds bruh.
• Portal plugins to take everyone back to their clans.

3- Traders Market

• Peaceful PvP-free zone for allied clans to trade/sell/buy goods in.
• Portal plugins to take everyone back to their clans.

4- Court House

• I believe The_Derp already suggested a diplomatic building, please include a court house for trials against those who break the rules.
• A jury should be contain at least one random person of each clan who is online at the time of the trial.
• Seat for spectators.
• A "Trial" channel to separate official talk from the local chatter of the audience.
• Obviously the Judge is someone who can call the cards about the server rules. Duh.
• Portal plugins, yes...again.

I had more ideas before but can't remember at the moment.

I think the idea of this would be pretty neat, but it might diverge from what the Staff have in mind if they had things planned for the future.
Lets say that these ideas were approved-- who would build them? Would they be already pre-made? Like copy and pasted? Maybe a clan can take up one build project and put it in their own territory?

I do like the sports stadium and casino ideas though.

I dont recall suggesting number 4 and I dont think I even like that idea anyway. I may edit this post when I get the time/feel like it to have a detailed reply to the ideas in the thread

#4 suggestion reminds me of ArcheAge's trial system which was a nightmare to say the least (mainly cause I got maximum punishment everytime just for stabbing a dude's chicken) so I'm definitely not down for that idea but the others sound cool.

One two and three could work great with the current server, and would certainly add some extra fun to it, I am however not a fan of number of, because I dont think it would work out very good, especially in the long run.

I want to say all the pros and cons though typing all that on a phone is much to tasking.

I'd add "More, scattered dungeons" the list of things we need.
Like, yeah, we have dungeons, but their all pretty much at spawn, which... well, I'm not going back to spawn for any reason.

I think that there should just be dungeons scattered around the land that people just find, dungeons that not everyone playing knows about.

Also, not a fan with any sort of court house.
Just... for a clans server, a court house just seems out of place.

Well not really a court of law, but for settling wars, being diplomatic, stuff like that
