From what I saw on a video by JonTron, it pretty much looks like CoD, and we all know how I feel about that pile of shit, sooooo...
I see you never played Counter Strike before. CS:GO is Nothing like CoD, maybe the graphics do, but graphics doesn't determine the quality of a game. CS in general is really hard to master, at atleast in my opition. Really you don't know how much some CS players will yell at you for saying that.

As for CS:GO, I've preordered it the first day. And I really need to practice, I've gotten my ass kicked so much. Despite that, the game is a ton of fun. Kind of dissapointed because I can only run it on low, probably because my pc is made out of sticks and stones but oh well.

Please elaborate on the differences then, because I stopped trusting modern game devs when CoD MW2 came out.

You have to use tactics to defeat the enemey, going full out rambo and try to unload on an emeny will only get you killed.
There is no attachments on guns, however there were silencers in the past CS but it was only usable for like 2 guns, but seeing how silencers is not in CS:GO so far in the beta, makes me think they removed it entirely.
Everyone starts on the same starting field at the start of each match, each round you have to buy your guns and equipment each round. If you die you lose all the stuff you bought, which actually punish people for not paying attention or doing poorly.
In CoD you all ways have all your equipment and guns at all time regardless on how well you're doing, and people who played the game longer will have the better guns attachments and more equipments choices to equip and use into battle. Dying in CoD doesn't really punish you a whole lot, the only thing you really lose your kill streak.
There is no such thing as kill streaks in CS.
The community can actually make content like maps in CS witch adds on to the game, CoD developers really only focuses on consoles, so having custom maps isn't really possible.
There is no such thing as regenerating health in CS, so you can't take 15 bullets then find a wall and suck your thumb for 10 seconds and magically gain full health, a thing modern FPS like to add into their games for some reason.
No such things as perks.
The guns handle really differently, recoil is a big factor while aiming, guns in CoD is really easier to aim and get a kill.
No aiming down sights, you have to aim by the hip. The only guns you can use the scope on is the AUG and Sniper Rifles.
CoD is a realistic army FPS.
Okay I can't say that with a straight face.
-ahem-
CoD is trying to be FPS biased on the army, so they will add air support, crazy attachments on to guns, and what other things they think the army has. It's way easier to play, so I guess everyone can get on to it and do some what decent.
CS isn't like that, you have to be really skilled to do well in. Not everyone can jump on to this game and expect to do well in. Seeing how good some people are at this game,it will take a lot of practice to do great in.

This is the part where i will shun you deeply for dissing the most influential FPS games of the world. The gold that started every single FPS games. And you tell US that it'll be a shit game filled with CoD fanboys trying to run around like an idiot doing 360 headshots?
You shame me.
Hey, I never stated that I refuse to believe it isn't a CoD ripoff.
I'm just saying it seemed a little too much like CoD.
I've never played it. I wouldn't know. Chill.

Disregard any of that. I had a very horrible morning to the point my reading skills are just pathetic.

Anyways, someday, I WILL PREORDER THIS. INTERNET OR NO INTERNET!
And valve, if you change the gameplay in the slightest bit, i will...

Question : Does CS:GO still has the same set of weapons they used in the old game?
They replaced the USP with the P2000, the M4 doesn't have a silencer anymore, they replaced the Scout with a new sniper rifle, the MP5 was replaced with the MP7 and the old silenced TMP was replaced with the MP9. They added some new weapons as well such as the PP-Bizon and SCAR-20.
