Please elaborate on the differences then, because I stopped trusting modern game devs when CoD MW2 came out.
You have to use tactics to defeat the enemey, going full out rambo and try to unload on an emeny will only get you killed.
There is no attachments on guns, however there were silencers in the past CS but it was only usable for like 2 guns, but seeing how silencers is not in CS:GO so far in the beta, makes me think they removed it entirely.
Everyone starts on the same starting field at the start of each match, each round you have to buy your guns and equipment each round. If you die you lose all the stuff you bought, which actually punish people for not paying attention or doing poorly.
In CoD you all ways have all your equipment and guns at all time regardless on how well you're doing, and people who played the game longer will have the better guns attachments and more equipments choices to equip and use into battle. Dying in CoD doesn't really punish you a whole lot, the only thing you really lose your kill streak.
There is no such thing as kill streaks in CS.
The community can actually make content like maps in CS witch adds on to the game, CoD developers really only focuses on consoles, so having custom maps isn't really possible.
There is no such thing as regenerating health in CS, so you can't take 15 bullets then find a wall and suck your thumb for 10 seconds and magically gain full health, a thing modern FPS like to add into their games for some reason.
No such things as perks.
The guns handle really differently, recoil is a big factor while aiming, guns in CoD is really easier to aim and get a kill.
No aiming down sights, you have to aim by the hip. The only guns you can use the scope on is the AUG and Sniper Rifles.
CoD is a realistic army FPS.
Okay I can't say that with a straight face.
-ahem-
CoD is trying to be FPS biased on the army, so they will add air support, crazy attachments on to guns, and what other things they think the army has. It's way easier to play, so I guess everyone can get on to it and do some what decent.
CS isn't like that, you have to be really skilled to do well in. Not everyone can jump on to this game and expect to do well in. Seeing how good some people are at this game,it will take a lot of practice to do great in.
