  • Name of the map: Invasion
  • Creator(s): Bram13
  • Size: 100x100
  • Biome: Jungle
  • Screenshots (include the suggested timer areas!):

An overview of the entire map.

The spawn, right next to the broken portal.

The Cave of Lyrics, which I enjoyed building the most. It includes the lyrics of a few famous songs: "Someone like you", "I'm coming home", "Still alive", "I love it" and a few more songs I can't remember right now.

I forgot how you call something like this, but yeah, it's on the map so yay

Random cliff thing which has birch trees on it because birch trees are amazing

My mansion-house thing

Kay, here are the suggested timers: (all marked with red wool, some of them in a so-called "Timer Box")

The first timer is all the way down at the end of the Cave of Lyrics. It should be released five minutes into the game.

The second timer, which releases at 10 minutes into the game, is located at the big dirt thing. It's in the Timer Box.

The third timer, which releases at 20 minutes into the game, is located right at the entrance of the Cave of Lyrics. I couldn't find a picture of it, oops. It's in a Timer Box.

Last timer is in another Timer Box on the big cliff thing. It should be released 30 minutes into the game.

  • If you included chests, then list the items that are contained in each of them (Optional): I've included a few chests, but they don't really contain anything special. (no efficiency X pickaxes or blaze spawn eggs this time though c: ) Some cookies, some mushroom soup, useless weakness & slowness potions.
  • Any block that you prefer to be no-break or no-drop?: Lapis lazuli block, anvil, brewing stand. As the map also contains about 50 signs or (probably) even more, you could make that no-drop as well, but I dunno.
  • Any extra information about your map?:
Well, it has a little bit of a backstory. It's the year 1758 (Bramstian calender, don't even ask) when suddenly a big red thing with a portal on top of it spawns in the village of Lollingham, and a few weird yellow things come out of it which essentially brutally murder every damn inhabitant of Lollingham. But a few people have survived (the players) and when the blazes went back through the portal to go to Hell, these guys just thought with their intelligent minds that chasing the damn things was the best idea in the entire world.
But meh. It was not. After having pretty much half of the group killed, the group realizes
they're idiots and return to the portal, while being chased by the blazes. They go to the
portal and prepare to die a very stupid death when those blazes come out, but
conveniently the portal decides to break and, well, is obviously broken.
So now the humans are alone in Lollingham. Problem is, the Lava God got all mad at them
because they escaped his minions, so he's like: "LOL FK U AL" and decided to flood the
entire universe with lava for no damn reason at all. That's where the players come in: They
have to use these blocks to try and protect themselves from the incoming waves of lava.

also, /warp invasion on buildbox
Also, it can happen that there's random "lol" signs on the map. IFYOUSEETHOSEPLEASEREMOVETHEM. build was trying to be funny :(

It's a little open, and some of it looks rushed.
I do like the flastish area where players can build houses- though the spawn is sort of dangerous and the cliff behind it looks a little silly. x3

I dunno, I had actually build a few other things instead of the cliff thing (sorry build, but ravine just doesn't sound as fabulous) but at the end I felt like a 'normal' mountain or hill wassn't really fitting for this map, and thus I created this odd thing. I kinda like it, the way there's suddenly, out of nowhere, just a thing about 15 blocks above the normal ground.

I do agree on you with the spawn being dangerous though, so I've removed just about half of the fire and expanded the netherbrick part at the spawn. I think it's safe enough now.

Could you also specify what part of the map looks rushed? :p
Just vaguely saying "it looks rushed" and all the others being like "umm, yeah, whatever dark said" isn't really helpful :c
