I had a solid job alongside school for 2 years at a pet shop :).
It was my first job and has just recently finished as the shop has been forced to close :(.
I got it from working as work experience, then just got offered it when I proved I was good enough. I was paid £100 for what was supposed to be a free work experience.

Currently looking for another, but have been offered voluntery work (which I participate in within the community anyway) aswell as a job where my dad works (a place called Ascott house, a manor house where he is a head builder) for gardening/guiding people around the house etc. Also been offered an F1 related job at silverstone, mainly when the race is on, to guide people/show people around. Good pay though.

All good :)

fatalis Being a paramedic is a very demanding job in my eyes and should be respected and paid more, especially in my country, where funding is being cut in places.

I have been working with a local catering company recently, with tomorrow being the 2nd time I have worked for them. Their menu is Asian influenced, because well, they're Asian, but it's not like specific to one particular cooking style.

Wish me luck! Hoping the Head Chef doesn't yell at me too much

Le topic title. Most of the younger members won't, but maybe some of the older ones do.

I currently work as a paramedic.
Paramedic training is intensive and requires 3 years of training minimum...

Unless you jumped from 17 to 21 just now, I don't think you passed your physical examination, both exams, and your 400 hour placement req.

I used to work at a local grocery store, but i quit due to my busy school schedule. (and cause i had a very evil manager)
I currently am a tutor and a teachers aide. (Don't get paid for being a teachers aide, but i sometimes do for tutoring) I teach math, science and technology, on multiple levels (Up to calculus and statistics for math, up to physics I for science and up to computer science A and intermediate programming within technology).

In one more year I shall have my Associates in computer science and software engineering, with it i hope to land a good programming job. Might try and work for the government as a civilian with a GSA. :)

Meh, everyone around me has a job, but I don't. Though this summer I'm hoping to make some cash off of watering some flowers.
