Thanks to notch (well, I suppose Jeb could be the one to blame, who knows) taking into consideration that some people don't have gaming computers and instead use crappy laptops to play, I cannot currently play minecraft with more than 10 fps in SP. SMP isn't as bad as SP, but it's barely playable.

Because of this, I will be away from the server (SMP, since I barely ever played classic in the last few months) for a bit. I'm not sure if I'll be able to play again, or if I'll eventually give up. I'll still be checking the forums of course, so if there's anything that you need to tell me, just leave me a message.

Are you sr's? I played SMP for the longest time with only 5-10 FPS, it was just fine for me. But, I didn't come here to yell at you, all you need is some laptop memory, a new monitor, and close out of everything using the internet (okay, well, you don't REALLY need a new monitor, but it sure does make MC look sexy) and you'll be back in no time!
