So, I hope this is an appropriate place to post this.
I'm going to be a college freshman starting this fall, and I need a new laptop. I will be going into Mechanical/aerospace engineering, and need something that can handle 3D modeling, design, and some decent number-crunching. I also enjoy light/medium gaming on the side, which means a dedicated graphics card is a must.
My price range is 1500 +-, would like something:
portable (14-15.6 inch)
lightweight (relatively)
1080p screen is preferred, not necessary
i7 3rd or 4th gen would be preferred
If anyone has suggestions or things you think I should consider, I'd be happy to hear them!
Thanks
