I am the Mafia
roleblocker. Simply speaking, I block night actions.
Well for the game so far, these are my suspicions:
1. grimmjowforever - Mafia Role Blocker
2. Alpha102 - Mafia
3. shinyshark - Possible Civilian
4. ansoro2112
5. Ooglie101
6. nottykitten - Possible non-lucky civ
7. Jivvi - Possible SK/Vig
8. Vatumok
9. Prizyms - Mafia
10. endersteve5 - Mafia
11. Dessern5
12. infernofox - Possible vig/cop
13.Sploorky
14. MarsKid
15.digitalmez
16. 77_is_the_best - Mafia
17. HypeBurst
18. balloon98
19. storm886
20. kraby1
21. nitasu987
22. mariosatr
23. One One Two - Mafia
24. Defiant_Blob - Possible vig/power role/lucky civ
25. Old_Man_Oak_63 - Possible Power Role
26. myusername22 - potential civ
27. K1ngHoward
28. hihihilolHI
29. Omar_Sales
30. cooliorules - Possible Cop/Vig/SK
Why I guess so:
Jivvi - "Kilarl Tepas Enjur" --> Kill all the passengers.
Shinyshark - The way he talks, you can tell he is ordinary. Nothing to hide, just a plain old civilian.
Notty - Afraid of dying. Definitely not a lucky civ here.
Oak - Not sure how to explain, but his posting style/vibe was definitely different from last season. I suspect he might be a power role, but just a hunch.
Inferno - "I am Ladd Russo and i will
protect them..." Either a cop or a vig.
Defiant - "Would you believe me if I'm very lucky?" Could be pretending to be a lucky civ to prevent people from aiming at him. I say a potentially dangerous power role. Or just a normal civ.
Coolio - Dramatic, crafty a little. I say a possible SK.
Myusername - I say he just falls under the overly-suspicious civilian category. Like those who are aggressive and jump on every potentially-suspicious word you say and assume you are anti-town.
From what I have noticed, what a person posts can have some slip-offs or some trails leading to their role. In last season where The Road to Ruin died (as a Godfather), he posted, "Good luck my fellow mafia!" Jivvi indirectly replied, "Gee, thanks, that's awfully nice of you!" Jivvi came out as Mafia.
Some things I tips I thought of:
>Refrain from having internal jokes with one another.
>Refrain from aggressiveness, Hype was unusually aggressive last season, calling the SK "evil". It backfired on him and he was found out to be SK. (What I'm saying is that Ender your usage of "mafia scum" is a little...aggressive.)
>If anyone accuses you to be Mafia, avoid telling them your role. This would be dangerous if you were investigated and found out to be lying. Just beat around the bush, but not too obvious. Put your emotions on your sleeves, but not too exaggerated. Try to put yourself into the shoes of a townie.
>When talking about townies, avoid "them". Use "us" instead.
>Don't use the "jumping of bandwagon" excuse to vote to lynch someone. It raises a few eyebrows. Unless youhave a plan.
>Don't necessarily follow what your fellow Mafia members are doing. Be different. This reduces the chances of people thinking you are teaming up with them.
>A nice coverup. If majority votes for one of us, and it seems very very very definite that the person will be lynched, vote for that Mafia member about to be lynched as well. Not necessarily all the time, but do that sometimes.
I think it would be our highest priority right now to aim for the cop. While a vig can kill us, the chances of the vig hitting us is around 1/5. 20%. Not to mention the factor is highly dependent on how the vig suspicious views us as. However, if the cop survives, it would be very dangerous in the last stage since he/she can reveal our roles freely. If the cop is sharp enough, he/she might even find out the remaining Mafia members.
Oh yeah, I think it would be best to leave Defiant for the night. The doctor could be protecting him/Vig/SK aiming for him.
Lastly, 77. Your post about "Remember: Mafia can only talk during the night and since there hasn't been a night stage, the mafia have had no way of strategizing. They may not even know who the other mafia are!" is very very revealing. I checked, there are no posts by GmK that reveal such a thing. In the worst case scenario, act surprised that no one knows and pretend that you pmed GmK. People might ask you why you pmed GmK about it in the possible future, make up a convincing excuse.
That's all for Day 0. I'm sorry if I sounded a little commanding or something
