Neon's Resignation

Hello all.

I am resigning from my operator position on the classic Lava Survival server (Is it strange that I'm resigning on my birthday?). Why? It's mainly because I no longer want to see myself as a person that spends countless hours in front of my computer, daily, when I have more important things to do in my life. I just need a huge break from my screen. I know I've just come back from holiday, but I'd really like to change my habits now that I've returned. I'll probably come back, eventually. But I'm not exactly sure when (probably not for a while).

Staffing Lava Survival for over a year was great, I really enjoyed the people there, and all the friends I made (and our silly moments). It was sad for me to see so many Lava staff members leave over the months, but I guess I'm one of them too, now. Lava survival to me was more than just a survival server. It was a friendly, social place to be. I don't know how the server's going to be like in the future, but I really hope for the best.

Blocktopia has been the greatest and friendliest community I've been included in, and I'm going to miss every one of you guys. Thank you for your time.

I really don't know any other way to put it. Neon, you were a great Lava Survival operator, skin maker, and the best penguin/bird I've ever met. I wish you farewell, and best wishes in life!

You're not going to make me the oldest current Lava OP now. No, it can't happen. I'm too young to be in this spot .

But for real, your reasoning is very understanding. You don't necessarily HAVE to stay countless hours on the internet everyday, and still be on for a reasonable amount of time per week staffing with getting important things in your life done. I certainly adjusted my available time to that sort, at least. It is your decision, though, and I respect it. You were an excellent OP. I hope you will find time to visit, and I will be sure to not forget your derps ;p. Best of luck in the future.

You were one of my closest friends on lava. You always stood there by my side and influenced me. I would NEVER be this good at drawing and I wouldn't even be a trusted on lava. You were one of my bestest friends there... It's just... It's impossible to see you leave.

I'm gonna miss you the most. You were such an amazing and fun person and friend to be around... It's gonna be extremely hard to imagine lava without you. You were always there for me. You have been the most awesome friend I could've ever had. Just seeing this thread made me fall into tears, even though I already knew it would come.
