So, earlier today i read the most hilarious article ever, but it actually makes sense. Before i link the article take the time to think about this:

Technology has been greatly improving over the past few years, and social networking sites such as Facebook, Google+ and more have skyrocketed in popularity. It's almost weird for people NOT to have one. Also, when applying for a job; your employer is forced to run a background check on you and the first thing they will look for is a social networking website that you have joined. If it turns out you do not have one, then alarms could be raised, such as you are not a sociable person, or that you are hiding a secret. Theoretically this is possible, but logically it doesn't make much sense right?

So yeah here's the article, it's funny but in a way makes sense. What do you guy's think?

I use my facebook to contact people but thats it. There are more phsycos posting on my news about high school drama.

I just don't want random people I'll probably only hear from when they announce they're doing random things as friends, rather than people I come to know over video games or chatting. At least getting friends over games gives you both something in common.

In all seriousness, I don't find not having a facebook account makes you 'abnormal'. It's simply a lifestyle choice, the same as choosing if you want to buy cable or own a car.

I have a Facebook account ( SalientGorilla ) but the only reason I use it is for things that require it (Spotify). I use Twitter most of the time.

I don't have a Facebook and I'm completely abnormal. :3. In all seriousness, I don't have one because I don't agree with their ToS.(I am one of the 5 people worldwide that reads through them for everything xP)
I don't want to give them my photos and information to redistribute as they see fit.

The only reason i still have my facebook is cause of my friends going off to college and such. Yes i have most of their cell numbers but they post some awesome photos and vids of their campus (and of their band cause were all band geeks :D ) and makes me jealous...... xD
