What is an OC?
An Original Character (OC for short) is a character that you have created yourself and own.

What exactly is the use of an OC?
Great... You don't know the use of an OC. Ever heard of Maximum Ride? Her name is pretty much the title of the book. The author of the book is James Patterson. And the main character is of course her OC. Because she created it. The characters in a book is the OCs of an author. Unless someone else lent their OC to the author xD

How exactly do you make an OC?
It's really quite simple. You just think about the character's name, age, appearance, personality, history, etc.

Fighting style (optional): She uses her jumprope as a whip sometimes, and speeds up with her rollerskates. And (thanks to a certain event that turned her and Kurei into chocobos) when she's in space, she can form yellow wings and fly. When she needs it the most (like when she's really in trouble or something) she can call upon a keyblade and use it. She can also collect stardust by opening a yellow pouch and it will fly straight in (this is only possible during nighttine and in space). She can use this stardust to form forcefields, flip people upside-down, blow people away, etc.

Personality: Shy but yet talkative. Always tries to aim for the best. Doesn't give up easely but when Notty Kitten does give up, there is almost no chance Notty Kitten will try it again for some time. Likes to climb tall buildings for fun. Has a thing for humans and likes to own one.
Home: Anywhere Notty Kitten pleases. From the streets of rome to your bedroom. Anything is comfortable for Notty Kitten.
Appearance: Notty Kitten is a black cat. Black fur, black paws and black ears. Yet Notty Kitten's eyes are green as the color of the forrest.
History/Backstory (optional): Notty Kitten was born in the roman empire and has wandered the world ever since. Has made some frieds that are willing to help Notty Kitten at any time. Currently Notty Kitten is looking for a quiet life without much danger. Where Notty Kitten can sleep alot. Notty Kitten has always bonded good with humans and is looking for one to own and live with. Notty Kitten has been trought alot throught its lifes and has distrust even to its closest friends.
Fighting style (optional): Notty Kitten often uses its speed and agility to do a parkour the enemy can hardly do. When the enemy has failed Notty Kitten will use the element of suprise and rise from the darkness and claw its enemy. Biting is optional.

History/Backstory (optional): Duffie Izumi was brought to the world of Erinn, through the Soul Stream Guide, Nao. She chose her history here, and chose to become an elf. She later awoke, finding herself in the desert lands of Filia. Over the course of many, many years, she has traveled the lands of Erinn, and learned the ways of the Bard.

What is he/she based on (optional): N/A

Fighting style (optional): Duffie Izumi has a few different fighting types: Bow and Arrow (Horseback, Dragonback, Foot), Sword and Shield, and Music.
Bow and Arrow; Duffie Izumi equips herself with a longbow, and shoots down her enemies from far away. Being an elf, she is talented in the ways of the bow and arrow, thus she can hold her arrow on the ready as she runs around, and is also able to use ranged attacks from horseback and dragonback.
Sword and Shield; Typical melee combat. She can do the typical hack and slash, as well as blocking arrows from afar. When equipped with her shield, she can charge at enemies that are far away, bringing her closer toward them.
Music; Being talented in the way of song, she can play her instruments to do many things. She can play the song of Enduring Melody, strengthening herself and her allies' defense. She can play the song of Battlefield Overture, in which she can strengthen herself and her allies' attack power, dealing heavier blows, and harder hits. She can play a Lullaby, in which she forces her foes to fall in a short sleep, in which her allies can deal massive damage while they slumber.

Age: Unknown, looks around 13-15

Personality: A little shy when around new people, but generally very cheerful and happy when around friends. She can be a little weird and tends to joke around a lot, often caught sneaking a 'snack'.
Home: The floating islands of "Shin'ai".

Appearance: She looks like a 13-15 year old girl. She's slim and average sized, with dark brown hair with yellow streaks in it. She has white wolf ears on her head, and deep, greyish-blue eyes. She wears usually wears a crimson hoodie which fades to orange near the bottom, and either a short, orange skirt or orange shorts. She wears leather boots and has a white wolf tail, as well as the lower part of her body being wolf fur and paws.
History/Backstory (optional): I, honestly, never made a background story for her; she was just there. Though, I do have some story from the near present:

One day, she decided to travel to the world of Elysium; she traveled into a jungle near where she had entered a town, and then dug out a small home there. She started wandering around the next day, nearly starved, searching for food, when she finally found animals. She also found quite a neat person there; her name was DarkHender. Darky asked if she wanted to join the floating islands of "Shin'ai", which was her home. She said it was a small town still being developed. Kylieanna agreed and she joined, and when she saw the islands, she gazed at it in wonder. She was given her own island to build a house and live on, and ta da!

But soon, a war started; 4 different cultures thought against it each other with grenades, TNT, bows that shot arrows of fire and confusion even! Kylieanna decided to join, switching to different cultures constantly to help, trying to decide which is the right thing to fight for. Meanwhile, her friends are being weird and looking at some pretty disturbing videos and gifs.

What is he/she based on (optional): Nothing, really, she is based off of my love of wolves, and when I made her I called her species a "Half Wolf Half Human" (so original!). But soon after seeing a certain anime, I changed her to a "Half Wolf Half Demon", because InuYasha is awesome.

Fighting style (optional): Eating and using a bow and arrow and, most of the time, the fork, to torture her friends. She also uses a whip to, again, torture her friends. :3

Weapons (optional): Mainly whips and the fork.

Likes: Pink and tea.

Name: None really used other than The Emperor, though eventually becomes known as Polt when not in a position of power. Old name is unknown.
Age: Depends how far we're talking in the future. Maybe 300, 600, 900, 3000, 6000, or over 9000...
Gender: Male.
Birthday (optional): Unknown.
Personality: Quite formal, wise beyond even his years, and very decisive. His weakness is his inexperience in normal life.
Home: No home. He's more nomadic, and he has seen countless years, and countless homes destroyed. He doesn't need sleep.
Appearance: I've always tried to make something creative, but I've always (until my imagery imagination gets good) imagined him in a Starcraft 2 Marauder suit appearance-wise.
History/Backstory (optional): Born a normal human in the late 20th century, he lived a good life, but found that even he could not unlock the potential of his mind. Later, a tragedy struck him, but he was saved by himself... a version of himself far in the future, deciding to spend his final years showing his young self the way. This version replicated his suit and gave an underpowered version to him, allowing him to unlock his potential and taking time out of the equation. Later, through a near-apocalyptic event and a great depression of human life, descending into anarchy and destruction everywhere, he was tutored by his future self in a reserved plateau. After this, he became possibly the most powerful being in the world, but he did not forget who he owed it all to... God. Later, he vowed to form a perfect, Universal, Celestial Empire. Every one came to disaster so far, but time is not a factor in his quest.
What is he/she based on (optional): My wild imagination.
Fighting style (optional): Tries to force his enemies into submission, but is not afraid to kill them. In invasions, he employs Mongol-style tactics; he culls entire planets if they do not submit, to scare his enemies. His tactics softened up, but he left such a mark that no-one dared not submit after their armies were defeated, not even in his Democractic Empire (he was doing so much good, he got re-elected most times).
Weapons (optional): Using a specialised projectile launcher that drains the power out of enemies but does no harm, using materials from the hell of Vexim, he forces enemies into submission. If he wants to go for the kill, he uses a powerful projectile capable of clearing entire streets reliably, which isn't based on Yamato Cannon or anything (Starcraft influences me).
Likes: Work, killing evil, expansion of his empire.
Dislikes: Everything evil.
Anything special: Almost immortal, his suit grants him many powers.
Species: Human, but not very much anymore.

Personality: Very formal and royal, but makes good decisions and thinks before he acts.

Appearance: Very human-like in his basic form, but in his true form, he's actually a fox-style thing.
History/Backstory (optional): A very secretive race stole and took DNA from the legendary Otto I - founder of the First Reich, the Holy Roman Empire - in 962, remaking him in one of their own. He was made to live as a human and change time to combat the coming tide of the Mongols who would, in this alternate timeline without this being, not be faltered by their leader's death and be able to completely steamroll over all of Europe, the Middle East, China and Asia, drastically altering history.
What is he/she based on (optional): Several inspirations; my love of FXOGuMiho and kumihos in general, my love of the Holy Roman Empire, and my love of the Mongols (it pains me to put them as the enemies). A combination of random nations and things.
Fighting style (optional): Well, he doesn't really fight that much, as he's a leader, and commands people. However, he likes to employ the Mongol strategies himself; if you can't beat them, join them, eh? or just straight up counter their strategies. He uses a composite bow and a halberd to keep his enemies at bay.
Weapons (optional): Composite bow, halberd.
Likes: Commanding, kumiho stuff, defeating Mongols
Dislikes: Retreating, letting Mongols win

kumihos are generally fox-like species that transform into maidens, seduce men and then eat them

. He doesn't exactly do that, of course; that would be unorthodox. However, he is sometimes tempted to do that, which he has to avoid and is his greatest test of all. His fox-like senses, though, gives him an advantage on the battlefield and as a commander, while he still has human sight and stuff. He has a born talent as a commander.
Species: Kumiho
Any living relatives?: Well, considering they all live for thousands of years, yes. But none who he says often.
Other details:

Well, you can blame the second one on the fact that I'm obsessed with kumihos. I have been for a while, blame FXO's GuMiho for that one; if you don't know what I'm talking about, know that. Also, realistically, what other race could I do? The only manga I've read is on kumiho's; sure, it was a long time back, but still, I have no experience in anything else. Other than dragons, but that's too... cliché.

EDIT: How did I get fox mixed up with wolf? I think I know why, but still. Maybe I haven't read a good kumiho manga in a while.

Appearance: Tall. Thin. Fit. Tan. Blonde short hair. Purple/Light Blue eyes.

History/Backstory (optional): His Dad called Aruth, which lived in the sky castle, was flying around when he saw the most beautful lady ever. She's a human. Her name is Sisiny. They fell in love. Got married. And had their first child. Which was Remington. He was half angel and half human. Then they had triplets, called Hailey, Bailey and Nailey. Late ron they had their lost son, called Aaron.
This family is extremely close. They protect themselves from anything. A lot of people wants to kidnap any of them since their powers are very valuable. That's why they live in a Sky Castle which is very hard to find.
Remington promised to protect his family no matter what. He would die for them if its necessary.

Fighting style (optional): He's very careful when he fights. He thinks very well before he fights. He always have a plan B.

Weapons (optional): Angel wings. Spear he carries in his back which is made of transparent steel.

History/Backstory (optional): Seika lives in a small little home with her 2 brothers and her very sick mother. There is no known illness that could have her mother in such pain, Seika takes care of her brothers as well as her mother. It's been like this for a while now, they don't think their mother is going to make it.
What is he/she based on (optional): Not based on anything really. Just imagination.
Fighting style (optional): She learnt marshal arts as a child from her father. (deceased.)
Weapons (optional): Fists and a small knife that she hides in her belt buckle.

Appearance: You see a girl, average height, with long hair tied into a high ponytail, with a purple scrunchie, along with a pair of purple contacts. She has a stripped purple shirt and navy blue jeans, along with some sneakers. She usually wears a purple Turtle Beach headset on her head, listening to music, unable to hear her surroundings like most would.

History/Backstory (optional): Duffie Shirayuki awakens, finding herself in the land of blocks. She looks at herself, finding herself to be blocky, as well. Suddenly, she is chased, zombies at her tail. She runs away, jumping around in the chaos. Zap. . . A flash of light. She is now in a blank, white world. Looking at herself, she has a more defined body, and a pencil in her hand. The pencil transforms into a pen and tablet. She is an artist.

What is he/she based on (optional): Duffie Shirayuki is based on me, only swapped gender.

Fighting style (optional): Duffie Shirayuki doesn't usually like to fight, but when she has to, she'll use a Rowan Staff, along with a Silver Blade. She fights defensively, making sure she can protect herself from any and all blows. If she is unable to use her preferred weapons, she will usually take either ranged weapons, or quick melee weapons.

Trivia: These are four out of six characters that I have carried with me since the sixth grade. I choose characters based on the plot of the story/how many I am allowed/will best interact with/etc. I feel a great attachment to them, not only because of their nostalgia, but because every roleplay I have ever gotten the chance to use them gave them a chance to grow and expand.

Appearance: 180cm tall bearing 2 swords, one rather plain and simple in design the other being a ridiculous size and incredibly designed, Oak wears a simple camo brown cloak around but underneath hides an impressive suit of strong lightweight armour. Brown hair the colour of an Oak tree trunk and deep brown eyes and a small scar on his right cheek.

History/Backstory (optional): Oak lived a normal life in the modern age, until a dimesion sorceress warped to his home one night. She 'un-named' proceeded to torture and kill his family until he was left alone, after refusing to beg for his life at her mercy the sorceress decided to spite him by giving him immortality and the knowledge that he would never be strong enough to defeat her. She then proceeded to knock Oak back into a warp loop where he was stuck warping through different times and dimensions randomly. Cursed as he was Oak fell into a depressive state, he was immortal and unable to die, so he spent several years randomly wandering through countless dimensions.

This changed when he came into a dimension that was the home of the Greek Gods, who took pity on him and broke his curse in exchange for helping to delay the fall of Greece. To do so Oak was given a powerful weapon forged by a tiriad of gods that ruled over the different realms. The weapon was bestowed upon Oak and was named Hope, the power of this sword was astounding, it gave courage to those who had none and turned the tide of the battle for Athens. The enemy forces were driven into retreat for they had no answer to the incredible ferocity of the defenders. At this point the Greek Gods were debating whether to let Oak keep a powerful weapon such as the Sword of Hope and just as they were about to remove it from his grasp, the Sword itself warped oak to another dimension just as the sorceress had done to him years ago.

Realising he now had in his means a way to combat the sorceress, Oak procceded to strengthen himself for a battle of epic proportions. Travelling to many and new dimensions Oak would train himself as hard as he could to find the strength to defeat his nemisis.

What is he/she based on (optional): A little Greek mythology but not much otherwise its mostly my own imagination.
Fighting style (optional): Sword Warrior, Oak has many fighting styles he has picked up in various dimensions but his normal fighting styles are two-handed sword combat in a single versus situation, if fighting multiple enemies Oak will draw his second sword and take them on.
Weapons (optional): Sword of Hope and a secondary long sword.

Dislikes: Betrayal, The sorceress
Anything special: The sword of hope will began to flare with a purple fire when trust in him by his companions reaches its maximum. At this point Oak can then invoke its power and his whole body will become engulfed in a purple flame in which everyone of his attributes is enchanced many times over. Once this skill has been activated it can not be used again for sometime. Oak is also immune to fire attacks, although lava is still gonna make him think twice. Oak is also very strong but his other most remarkable trait is speed in which he is normally one of the fastest people fighting.
