Well, I've been watching you for a few weeks now, and I must say, I like the way you tickle my nogin. You've been very dedicated to our principles of Nicholas-Cage-worship and hourly onion eating, both of which are real stapples of the community. In fact, I believe I saw you both eating an onion together just a few hours ago. Ah, young swag~

All in all, an excellent appeal. I vote +8.1938, which is a fine score for many, and wish you good luck!

If you've found a way to feed your children by dropping out of kindergarten and applying for an unpaid position in a gaming community such as this then by all means +1

Alright I hadn't considered this I'm going to have to vote -1 on the appeal but +1 on the application

there are several reasons for this....

1) I'm not sure how well you'll be able to adapt to both being able to play on the IRC server and staffing on it at the same time. I'd rather see you master the staffing aspect first then file another appeal later on.

As a player You didn't try to ping enough staff members.... what if ogarci's not familiar with the issue either? surely we can't expect our own staff members to have enough sense to ask someone else in a problem they are unfamiliar with.

3) having staff member who can access the server creates a liability issue. who's to say how we can expect them to act on the server? what if they decide to help people like answering questions providing unfair advantages compared to those who've had to figure things out on their own? what if they actually make the experience more fun for others? this provides a clear unfair advantage enabling some people to play the server more while the best players are the ones who force themselves to be online 24/7 no matter how miserable they are. It is because of this that I'm going to say we need to keep more staff off the server to fill the staff spots while we begin the process of banning more operators.
