Over a year ago, i joined blocktopia (in the primordia days) using a bukkit mod kown as spoutcraft whilst in search of a server that had some level of adventure to it (this is also how i originally found Blocktopia). All though I can't say there was a whole lot of pure, raw adventure, i did have a good summer that year (played some maps, introduced my cousin to the server, cheated the sewer map with the assistance of a staff member, amongst other things...) and i was both confused and dismayed when primordia finally died around early September (if i remember correctly). Later that year, my cousin got me back on the server for a pleasant surprise: Build Box was now in business, and just on time for Christmas too, though i was too absorbed at the time with a particular factions server to stay long.
Later, soon after MC 1.5.2 released, i joined the server once more and spent what must have been a month on Rituals of Fire, where i got all the way to apprentice rank (still beginner rank in my opinion) before i eventually went on to try out AoD and at long last, return to build box, where i have been going around having new adventures almost every week. More recently, i have constructed a mountain/dwarf kingdom (that is NOT Erebor, regardless how many people think it's so), created a small mountain range with ice fort and graveyard (special "easter eggs" behind the graves of knight atnioch and the hero of time). So apart from my excessively long life story on Blocktopia, i would like to say that I'm tired of people (and at this it seems, the best of us) leaving the community and ultimately quitting Minecraft.
At long last, i finally say "Hello blocktopians!", despite having been amongst us for so long.
