So in my psychology class we were taking personality tests* and all and I was wondering if anyone here would take consideration into these and believes that legitimate ones actually describe people. C:

This is the test we took: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp
And this is where we found our profile description after getting our answer on the previous link: http://typelogic.com/
This was my result**: http://typelogic.com/entj.html

I personally find the Personality Tests interesting. So far with the ones that /have/ been presented to me are a good 3/4s accurate to how I percieve myself. I even have this book called The Secret Language of Birthdays ((which is apparently a website also)) which is a large book on people who are BORN on a certain day are going to me THIS personality. It's intense.

* These aren't some of the Facebook ones or Google ones created by prepubescent kids.
** My favorite bit about me was:
"ENTJs have a natural tendency to marshall and direct. This may be expressed with the charm and finesse of a world leader or with the insensitivity of a cult leader."

ESTJ

Extraverted Sensing Thinking Judging
Strength of the preferences %
44 1 88 56

The ESTJ is outspoken, a person of principles, which are readily expressed. The ESTJ is not afraid to stand up for what she believes is right even in the face of overwhelming odds. ESTJs are able to make the tough calls.

Damn forum not letting me type AFTER THE RESULTS.
I completely disagree with my results. In reality I think too much, care more about others than myself, always perceiving the future, and always questioning how things go. This test is rigged :l

Like their fellow SPs, ISTPs are fundamentally Performers (note the capital 'P' :)), but as Ts their areas of interest tend to be mechanical rather than artistic like those of ISFPs, and unlike most ESPs they do not present an impression of constant activity. On the contrary, they lie dormant, saving their energy until a project or an adventure worthy of their time comes along - and then they launch themselves at it. The apparently frenzied state that inevitably ensues is actually much more controlled than it appears--ISTPs always seem to know what they're doing when it comes to physical or mechanical obstacles--but the whole chain of events presents a confusing and paradoxical picture to an outsider.
