GAMEPLAY:

So, Nintendo Land is full of lots of different mini-games, or "Attractions". Each one is based off a Nintendo title (I still see no Starfox or Pokemon OR KIRBY THOUGH.) Let's begin with the one based of my favorite franchise, Pikmin. The Pikmin attraction is quite fun, it sort of takes the strategy out of the RTS of the original Pikmin titles, but really. Why would they have a pikmin clone when Pikmin 3 is coming out in a few months? Anyways, the game is very simple and easy to play, and has nice little references to Pikmin 1 & 2. SPOILER: You play as Olimar. Now onto another Attraction, one I haven't played much, That Captain Falcon one. Its okay, I mean, I know Nintendo land is basically a tech demo, but its not a whole lot of fun. Its one of the ones more like and iPad game, which leads me to Yoshi's Attraction. This one mine as well be on an iPad. Its very simple, you can't see the fruit on one screen, but you have to guide it on that screen to get the fruit and get to the exit. Fairly simple. Now onto Animal Crossings Attraction. This is probably my second favorite attraction so far. Its basically just two guards chase one citizen who is taking candy to put it in a basket thing. But its a lot of fun and can hectic sometimes. Next is Mario's Attraction. Its just a simple game of catch. One player runs from 3 other players (Or 1 + 2 yoshis, or 2 + 1 yoshi I believe), and if he lasts 2 minutes without being tagged, he wins. Game and Watches Octopus thing, This is my least favorite. By a lot. Its way to simple, and just boring. I'm sure it could appeal to some people, but moving the control sticks and not doing anything else is kinda boring. Now its that ninja game! This one is also... not very great. Flick ninja stars to hit ninja's. That's it. Luigi's Attraction, is very hard for me. I suck so much at its sad. The player with the gamepad is a ghost and no one can see unless he's in light or a flashlight gets him, like in Luigi's Mansion. The other 3 players try and get him (Or 1 or 2 players.) It's fun, I just suck at it. Donkey Kongs Crash Course is the only one with a name I remember. It's sad. It's very fun and simple, but very very hard. That's all I'll say, other then IT'S NOT EVEN LIKE DONKEY KONG AT- Moving onto Link's Attraction (Legend of Zelda), Its pretty easy. Singleplayer you use the bow on the gamepad, and in multiplayer the second player uses the wii remote to use the sword for a second player. Simple enough. And auto scrolling. Balloon Trip's Attraction is actually not to bad. Its pretty fun and nostalgic I'm sure for people who played the original game, unlike Game and Watch's... Swipe to choose the direction of the wind for the player to go. Pretty hard. Now onto the last attraction, Metroid's Attraction. By far the best attraction, its hard not to have fun. Its very well designed, and a fantastic attraction. Don't want to spoil anything, but it's a third person shooter. :D

Sound/Music:

Great. Not much else to say.

Story: There is none.

Graphics:

Good graphics all around, not astounding, or pushing the limits, but very pretty.

Overview:

A lot like tech demo, but its a supposed to be. It's very good at what it does, and is far superior to the last tech demo, Wii Sports.

Final Score:
