what in my opinion the new pokemon games are no where near as good as the first few generations
i think they've lost their creativity and are coming up with some really dumb names and terrible pokemon

On topic, I do see what you are getting at with the names and such, but every Pokèmon retains the awesomeness of the game before it and adds more. If that wasn't the point, they would've stopped makng games at Gold/Silver.

While Black/White may be, in your opinion, a bit lacking in certain aspects, I'm sure there are many other parts of the game that make up for it. In my opinion, what I love about the Gen 5 games is the technology. I remember when I got Diamond - I got to Jubilife City and went "OMG A WATCH COMPANY." But eh, that's just me and my eccentricity.

I think Black and White are just as good as their predecessors, although my favourite is Emerald (everyone has a favourite ;)). Off-topic(ish), I think a DS remake of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald would hit the spot. :)

Pokemon has differing opinions no matter who you talk to, and its alright for everyone to have their own opinions! So there's no need to spark a thread to hate about it, like flame-wars between different FPS games. ;)

I still think its a little too soon for a Hoenn remake, and don't forget... Black and White 2 is soon on its way! (which i am personally excited for as I enjoyed Black and White quite dearly.)
Pokemon will just continue to grow as a franchise, and will just keep going up from here I believe! New, younger, and older crowds will continue to flock to the Pokemon franchise, even if the older fans leave.

What's the problem of this thread?
He's just saying "I don't like the newer pokemon, do you?" in a bit of a rude manner.

I actualy agree, the old pokemon were simple. Birds, Stone snakes, Boulders with arms, Seaguls. That was a good game; The DS version of the game was a bit more confusing. They used the colours blue and white and purple as much as they could on the pokemons in my opinion.
