Project : the 4 faces of the leaders

Hello, I'm Malacath.
Some will know me and some don't.

Well, I got an idea, it's a hard one but FUN to do.
I'll show you a little picture and I'm sure everyone will recognize it.

Yes, well, some will already know where this is leading to.
My idea is : build this with the 4 faces of every family leader somewhere near the center of the
map so everyone can enjoy the view. It's a project for fun and for showing some respect to all families.

If this idea gets accepted, we'll need alot of stone. Alot. Alot. Alot. And alot of builders. Alot. Alot. Alot.

Love the idea, but how would it work? i dont know how it would look, since all the faces might end up being flat against a mountain, and, well, i think if you were to try to make the faces have some volume/ not be flat, how would that work? just sayin

Not sure if using just stone would work... wouldn't be able to identify since it would be flat. Maybe using wool for the actual face?

8 by 8? no, 16 by 16 sounds better to give it more details.
I'll use grey, light grey, black, darkgrey and stone for the faces.
Yes, there will be volume in it. Not fully 3D though.

I'd like some (very good) builders too on this project, if it gets approved ofcourse, njaaaaaaah.
So, I guess an Admin has to see this.

I'll use grey, light grey, black, darkgrey and stone for the faces.

Grey, Lightgray, DarkGrey, Black,White, Stone, cobblestone, stonebrick, mossy cobblestone, mossy stonebrick, cracked stonebrick, iron block, iron ore, clay, and snow block. Also, idea for my face: Have the front of iron bars except for eyes, and place lava behind it for red :3

I don't know where you could put this. Neither abyss or takeover zone.
It would have to be in a Freezone or in a family land.

The takeover zone is for projects not yet announced. (Does not mean they come soon)
And I don't want the Abyss too clustered with projects.

A family land it will be then. I think gaia is the best family land for it. friendly and neutral. They definitly deserve an awesome project. (I'm a dagon :D)

It could be the 3 admins and gmk since they are the true face of the server. They are the backbone that guides the entire server and should be acknowledged in a giant statue. (just my opinion)

I love this discussion. But erm. A few things,
1. ARE WE GONNA BUILD IT? *insane face*
2. WHERE?

Choices:
1.We could build it near port 3
Pros: it is nice and flat plus not many people around it.
Cons: We would have to build the entire mountain from scratch making it take longer.
2. Build it on already existing mountains. Coords: (720,64,529) (92,64,999) (-1029,64,1569)
Pros: will not have to make the mountain just make little touch-ups to existing mountain.
Cons: From what i can see most of the mountains are in family lands and are populated by a lot of people.

We could build it in creative then (if admins are willing to(they need to be on board for this project)) copy and paste it over.
