Hello Blocktopians,
over the last few days we have updated our Forum to Xenforo 1.2 and swapped quite a few things around, and whilst not everything is perfect yet (some templates are still broken and some visual glitches happen) we have a whole range of new features.
90% of those are backend things for administration & moderation and general speed/stability, so you won't notice them. I won't list all of those, but here is a list of the things relevant to you:
- You can "Star" Conversations. Very cool, very unnecessary, but wheeee! In general conversations have gotten more flexible and managable.
- Forum Watching has improved and is more stable and reliable now. If you were watching forums, you need to re-add them to the list, as all that had to be cleared.
- Post Edits are logged and can be checked by selecting the "Edited last" thingy in an users post.
- This page is still as awesome as ever http://blocktopia.net/forum/XenStaff/
- As is this: http://blocktopia.net/forum/pages/players
- You can mark posts as being the best answer to a thread. I don't quite know what happens when you do, but it sounds like a lovely thing. A post is marked as the best answer if it receives 3 votes.
- One of the really cool new ones: If you select some text with your cursor in a persons post, you get the "Quote Me!" button. Click it, and the text you selected is immediately posted as a quote to your Editor box at the bottom!
- New and more smilies! Still ugly, though.
- The big one: A new Editor with a buttload of new features. Almost too many to list here. The important change is the speed and reliability with which it works.
Apart from that, here are a few of the new things you can do with it:

Highlighting Text is easy

- You can insert PDF files, DOCs, etc., which you host somewhere else by using the GVIEW tag.
- Tables & Indentations are easier to handle
- We have included the Font Awesome Creator! Read all about it here http://fontawesome.io/examples/ and use it by clicking the FA icon in the Editor.
- You can now do things like e.g. an Accordion with different content in a post:

So, as you can see, a wild mix of improvements and changes. We'll continue working on it all to make it even more awesome.
