Basically in every deathrun map there would be a startpoint region and an endpoint region - when a player goes through the startpoint a stopwatch goes off, which stops when the player reaches the endpoint. Highscores (Fastest times) are recorded and if you perhaps reach within 5% of the highscore, which will be considered fast, you'd get extra rewards for the round.
This might work differently for maps such as DR_Butamou due to the teleportation button thing - maybe when the player presses the button a predefined amount of time is added to the stopwatch counter, or when it's pressed the player's attempt at beating the highscore is forfeited.
