[Suggestion for forums] New titles

Hello,
I recently updated my status saying how I think it would be good to have it so, for staff, the forum titles aren't just 'premium operator' for those that staff a premium server. I think it would be easier to see what server you staff if each server had it's own title, like the classic ones do. That way I think it will be easier to find staff for a specific server.
This idea might be stupid, but I thought it's worth a try.
Also, sorry if I should have put this in the staff discussion, but I want to hear what players think about it too.

It made it harder for me to learn where all the prmeium ops operated because they all just had the Premium op band, if it was changed, people would know what server they operated on without having to look further into it.

The way I see it:

• Classic servers shut down and titles are moved across (with text changes of course)
• BuildBox and JtE are stuck with 'Premium Op'
• BuildBox shuts down and a creative segment is added to JtE
• 'Premium Op' renamed to 'Elysium Operator'
• In the midst of this chaos, Half-Life 3 is released but nobody cares because they are too busy with these new titles.

I can see this happening actually, but lets stop derailing this thread with Valve games and focus on the idea of specific tags for premium Op+'s.

I think it would be nice to clarify them instead of bunching them up. Also, a VetOp premium title would be useful to have.

There's a global staff list by the way~
Super easy to find staff for a server.
Plus OPs can change their title to whatever if they want.

Whaaat? We can?! You are talking about the titles/plate things like 'Zombie op', right? Not the custom bit. I know ops can change this to whatever they choose, but a lot of staff don't make it about which server they staff.

To get this out of the way, it's already been brought up for classic zombies and the answer was no. Not because they're "not staff" but because it had to do with how much work it is and trusted's can always put the badge in their signature.

Now about the topic at hand, GmK already said no. But, this is a great idea. Even if it's not going to be put in, talking about it and praising it might get it looked into in the future.

I've always wanted the premium ops to have their own title/banner because it's confusing. Yes we do that that staff thingamabob but new players don't know how to get around the forums unless they've been to a community page like ours.

( I for one know where all the people staff on so it's not hard for me) BUT, others don't know and what if they need to talk to a staff or some such and go searching through the forums for the "AoD Operator!" Or "SMP(Jte) Operator!" And they can't find it?


There is a lot of reasons why we should add this, but also there are some things that you can already do if you have the knowledge to find the specific staff group you're looking for.
