Suggestion - Lockette Plug-In

Just a little suggestion that would help out greatly, this mod lets you put a sign onto a chest (By shift-clicking) and it becomes private to you, meaning that you won't forget to block your chests with dirt and get all your diamonds stole again ! You can also add other people to access the chest.

Pros:
- No need to block chests with dirt or forget to do so.
- Add / Customise who you want to access the chest.
- Stack chests on top of each other without having dirt on top of each chest for more compact storage.
- No more forgetting to block your chest !

Cons:
- Blocking chest can encourage remembering to do things.
- Could be abused.

About a Lockette chest:
- Other players cannot enlarge, destroy, look inside or steal out of a locked chest.

How to Use a Lockette Chest:

- Write "[Lockette]" on the Top Line.
- Write your username on the Second Line.
- Write any additional people to be added if you wish to do so in the 3rd and 4th lines.
- Add more signs on the chest to add up to an additional 4 people per sign.

It's quite flexible, you don't have to force a lock, and it uses up a sign as a punishment. Plus, your fists won't hurt as much. Maybe not in DoD though, seeing as it's about to be overrun by monsters, I say as Danni posts before me.

LWC is superior to Lockette in any way, so seconding this. Also seconding Danni. You could consider it for the next SMP, although if you're going to allow stealing, then don't add it, since it pretty much eliminates any way anyone's going to steal from a chest or another container.

Well, lockette has more 'Roleplay value' for recreating creating a lock and then putting it on the chest/door. But in the end, when you want a 500 chest warehouse I'm not really looking forward to making 250 signs instead of entering two simple LWC commands...

Depends wich server you play on. I've had servers where auto-lock was disabled because people did not understand the concept of /cmodify >.>
