The Eternal Dinosaur
The hallway swarmed with the loud buzz of hundreds of eager voices but only one sound was what I heard, it was amplified in my brain and pounded in my skull like a bad headache. The sound that haunted my nightmares and left me crying in the corner, rocking back and forth until the tears that I so desperately begged for would no longer respond to the pleading sobs that scratched my throat like sandpaper.

The footsteps of the person who had the eyes like concrete and the mocking smile. The body that held a heart colder than ice and blacker than obsidian. The one who bore the frosty laugh that emitted endless cruelty. Her judgmental eye always searching the crowd for that one person, that vulnerable, sensitive outsider that can't fight back, can't speak up.
Me.
I shrank against my locker, knowing I'd lost my chance to escape before she pranced through the hall with her head held high. She was the queen of this place. Everyone feared her like a ruthless leader and the silence that hung in the air as the crowd parted to let her through made me squeeze my eyes shut, my heart thumping like a great bass drum in my chest so loudly that I could hardly hear myself think. I clutched onto my books for dear life as I felt the gentle brush of cloth by my arms and cold misty breath on my face.
So there was my introduction to a new story I'm writing that was inspired by the song Magenta and a drawing of my OC- Toiletprincess or 'Torre Prinn' that I made. I hope you like the introduction and I'll probably write the first chapter tomorrow. Woo \o/
