Snippet from my opening post:

He'd hunted game and pumped water from a spring underground. Life was good until he started to feel the effects of the ifestation. Due to the small population, there weren't many actual pusermites, but the animals all fled.

My logic behind this was something of a "Animals know what's up. They bailed."

Yes, OOC means Out Of Character. Basically everything while you're not actually roleplaying. Trap_Wolf's also posted a nice thread about the basics of roleplaying; it's stickied so you might want to check it out if you haven't already.

hey guys! I created a map of the area (it has been approved by Naoh ) Hope ya like it! :D (btw the closest radio station to a walmart in Rockford IL is approx. 4 miles.)

yep. However I have added more residential areas, because its in the future and the city seems to expand rather quickly.
