More like therapist perhaps.

Lately, I have been randomly getting choked up, like you do after crying. Sometimes my eyes start to form tears from this. This condition has started off just being once a day and I ignored it. But now, it seems to have progressed over time to around 3 times a day, and its been really bothersome. Ive went searching around the web abit, and the most relevant possiblity i can find is that emotionally instable and need therapy (oh the irony)

I dont know if puberty is just pulling my leg here, or if something severe is happening, but perhaps one of you may know how to prevent this, or whats causing it.

Alright friend, I'm not exactly sure if you need to resort to something like professional therapy, and no website can really tell you how you feel. However, I would suggest some lower level stuff, maybe talking with some close friends, opening up, etc. This can be therapeutic in itself, and if you really discover that there is something more wrong with you, then consider trying something else.

This could also very well be puberty pulling your leg, hormones and such. But its a great opportunity to develop some self-help skills to deal with any eventual depression or anxiety. I find that exercise will really help your mood (subconsciously or otherwise), or it could pass by all together.

I also don't recommend getting on any kind of medication if its not severe.

While Wyrer may be correct in some aspects but I disagree on the whole "knock off the internet for help."

Through my experiences using Youtube and various blog sites centered on my focus have assisted me in becoming the more "knowledgeable" person I am. Listening to other people's stories is a good thing. No matter what a person's input is on any emotional/social anonymity it will have some sort of sway or at least go through your thought process and you will consider their opinion. Obviously you're already open to this idea because you are coming here on the internet for advice.

My backing up: It Gets Better videos. Some are a cliche. Some are a down to earth feel. These videos are one big major sincere impact on a society or teens going through depression about their sexuality. They are other people's biographies and experiences.

You're are still empowering yourself by using this form of research on your own. You're still becoming a person. And that stuff about talking to close friends: Not to shut anyone down but you can't legitimately talk to your best friend about everything. There are absolutely very rare people in the world you'll be able to freely communicate in a safe manner. I can only count two people I know I can entirely open myself too and receive correct criticism.

All in all Emosquire, there's a lot of lack of information here. I feel like you're leaving a huge chunk to tell us. Which is okay. You don't need to pour your entire soul publicly like this. C:
Or maybe you really don't know what's wrong. I've been down that road. It's scary. .__.

Personally I feel like this is just a short thing for you. Moods come and go and I'm sure you'll feel a lot better soon Taco.

Also; View on medication. It honestly depends your body. I've had medication that does the job and has unfortunate outcomes. It's a trial and error thing and research on your part. ;D

What the fuck are the replies talking about?

This sounds more like a physical problem rather than a emotional one.
If you're randomly tearing up, it's because something normal...maybe...oh, I don't know...
YOUR FUCKING EYES ARE DRY AND YOU'RE NOT GOING THROUGH SOME TRAUMATIC LIFE EVENT.
Your body is smart enough to react to any ailments currently plaguing your body, hence you scratch when you're itchy, you rub when it aches, you fucking eat when it smells nice, so that's why your eyes are tearing, because they are dry.
No, you would not go to a therapist about it, you go to an optometrist to find out what's going on.
The only other logical thing is an EXTREME level of discomfort, but judging from the information aforementioned, you don't see to be even remotely uncomfortable.

Hope this clears things up a bit.
