Now on to discussion.
After reading over these many pages and comments, I've noticed we had not gone very far in part with discussion. pointing out the same flaws and discussions over and over again. This however changed with the news on
77_is_the_best being the role known as the "cop."
I have both, reasons to believe in his statement, however there are also negatives I feel in order for him to gain his trust. Lets begin with the reasons that we should not believe in this, shall we?
DON'T BELIEVE HE IS COP
It is extremely easy to say your the cop. Stating you are the cop can either backfire and loose much of the other contestants trusts, or the other extreme of everyone trusts you. Having the latter gives Mafia a huge boost, and the "fake cop" can normally just say he checked one of his Mafia teammates and say they are safe, in doing so directly taking suspicion from that person for relatively the rest of the game. 77's reasoning for saying he is the cop was came directly AFTER many (around 4 I believe) voted for him to be lynched, ordering him to come up with some kind of excuse. The best he seemed to do was say he was the cop, which gives MUCH suspicion as a desperate attempt to live and keep being Mafia.

No, one does not simply state he the cop. Stating you are the cop, as said before, tends to bring extreme outrage down and suspicion upon this person due to role he is stating. It is NOT easy to say you are a major power-role for the town in statements such as this, normally the doctor and the cop have these road-bumps to prove they are whom they say they are. This was an extremely gusty move by 77, and the cop/doctor normally DO NOT give out their roles for no reason, such as when the town would be loosing an important ally. Though this contradicts what I stated in the "DONT BELIEVE" section, I do believe he had a good reason for stating he is the cop - as said before - He, as well as the town, would loose an important ally with the death of the cop. ALSO, lets look at our reaction to this. In the last Mafia game,
killer1525 did not say ENOUGH reasons or explanations to back up his "cop" role case, and in doing so was lynched.
77_is_the_best on the other hand is trying on and on again that he is the cop with "some" evidence, and we do not seem to take this into any account. Are we really going to disprove a person every time they state they are the cop? I believe the mistrust is more largely on our part, then it is 77's in simply stating he is the cop.

Now this is what I believe on the part of 77. My views on Paceboy's explanation of being the "doctor" is a little different and I will mots likely be giving an opinion on his reveal later.
However, on view of this case, I would like to say that we should at least give 77
A CHANCE. By no means should we stop suspecting him, but if he truly is the cop, we need more evidence before such a crucial lynch should be decided, so I am going to NOT LYNCH for him at this time.
However- In case
77_is_the_best IS lying to us, may I give some advice to the town drunk that he/she attempt to role-block 77 in the case that we have enough evidence to decide he is not the real cop?

And If anyone says I AM THE MAFIA because I am partially "backing-up" 77, whom is possibly in your eyes "possibly Mafia..." Think again, and reread what I had written in this post. Thank you for your time on reading this wall of text.
