By the way, I find it kinda strange. I think the winners of the first round should fight against each other, and so should the losers. And then, the twice-losers are eliminated and lose-winners should fight against win-losers, while twice-winners fight against each other. (I hope someone will understand me )

I understand but we need to eliminate an odd number of people because we have about 39 competing in round 2.
