It can't. I made it to the island and tried to go through the portals and they do not lead anywhere.

It's a Premium server, you need to have Premium. Go into Multiplayer, Add Server, then name it whatever you want. Click Done, refresh and connect to the server by double clicking it or clicking it and then clicking Connect.
