Terraria!

I could have SWORN that there was a Terraria thread, but... Couldn't find it, so making a new one.

Terraria. Not as old as Minecraft, but sadly, will never age anymore... At least, in terms of updates (on the PC).

It has been officially stated, as of 9/11, that Terraria will no longer update.

But, rejoice! Terraria is moving to Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network!

So, if you ever wanted to play Terraria on the consoles, you shall soon be able to.

Anyway, post below conversations about Terraria~

Post Script : Main reason I made this thread is because I'm getting back into it again. Totally didn't know about most of the latest updates, so it's like a whole new game for me.

EDIT: Terraria 1.2 is on the horizon! There are already plenty of Beta videos up on YouTube, now we just have to wait for the actual release! :D

Grappling hooks are the best item in the game no matter what anyone says they are without grappling hooks we would be caveman eating mud

Seriously, why do so many people say that?
Mario and Sonic are both platformers, but that doesn't make Sonic a ripoff.
Perfect Dark and Doom are both shooters, but that doesn't make Perfect Dark a ripoff.
And besides; By that logic, Minecraft is a ripoff of Roblox.
That aside, it looks like a good game.

There are a ton of people who just throw baseless accusations, then there are also a ton of people who agree with those baseless accusations, in which chaos occurs.

People like acting like hardcore fans of Minecraft, and so they act stupidly in the process.

The only way you can swim is by getting an item.

If you're just starting, you've got some a-ways to go.

For me, I tend to work pretty slowly when reaching the end-game. I still haven't been to hard mode, except for quite a while ago when I played with Shadow.

But, even the most recent time I played was quite a while ago.

And what is that item? I drowned about 5 times tonight

My progress so far:
-Full copper armour
-iron broadsword and axe
-found a few gold veins so I hope to make something cool with that.
-Loving glowsticks and sticky glowsticks
-currently looking for a hook for a grappling hook

I love this game. I remember beating the hard mode bosses, but then it kinda got boring. You know, having to farm the bosses to get souls n' stuff.
But I'd gladly join my fellow Blocktopians in their quest of glory in the land of Terraria. :3

-found some place that has 'vile mushrooms' and 'soul eaters'
-drowned 5 more times
-looking for skeletons/piranahs to get a hook for a grappling hook
-found a magic mirror (how do I use it?)
-found a heart piece and I now have 120hp

The thing I like about terraria is how deep it is, I still havn't reached the bottom yet

For the mirror, you need mana.
At night, stars fall out of the sky. Use those....

I have about 7 stars, now to figure out how to use them :D

[yeah, I have avoided watching videos and reading about it as much as I can, I watched and episode of slyfox's LP and that ruined the floating islands ._.]
