Server's currently having a bug where it's not restarting automatically and causing massive lag; we're going to work on a fix, but your best bet at the moment is to ping me or trngl for it to restart.
We're in the process of installing major updates/bug fixes, including shortening round
times.

Now that we have room for another server, we may add one (Solitude?)

Only complaint I have with Solitude is the playerbase for Solitude.

If the server is full, or has a lot of people, you can always expect something to happen. But, if you have the server near empty, or completely empty, no one will want to play. And if no one will want to play, the server will remain empty...

So, I'm not so sure if Solitude should fit into our extra server slot.

People still lose interest.

If we get only a couple people at a time, it'll fail.

But, if we do broadcast, and get enough people to fill the server, we might have it going on for... A week.

Solitude might not last too long, especially with the up-rise in death that will occur.

But congratulations to the LSMP Operators and condolences to the resigned/demoted, anyway.
I say the new server should be a Treasure Hunt server. I think there was a point in time a while ago on SMP where there would be heaps of chests hidden underground everywhere and you'd have to find their waypoint with a compass. That was fun.

I would suggest Tekkit, but no one wants Tekkit, apparently.

We got the PvP issue resolved for SMP, but I think the main problem for Tekkit would be the grief. Surely, we could use plots for that, or something similar.

I don't know anything about these types of modifications, though, so I won't get too deeply into it.

Do we really need a new server? We have AoD for pvpers, smp for people who just want to play minecraft and now we have LSMP which is VERY popular. I think we should be looking for quality not quantity. So I think it will be worthwhile putting our time into making our current servers the best they can be.

(If we were to get a new server I suggest our own MineZ type server. It will be good because we all pretty much know everyone and teaming up will be fun)

Althought Quality is over Quantity, the only way to find the kind of servers we would deeply enjoy would be to test them out. It's how we got Solitude.

I never tried that one MineZ server we had for a day, so I wouldn't mind trying that out, if you guys actually broadcast it to everyone next time. :x
