Rainmeter and RocketDock don't take up much of your processor, although they might have a visible affect on older computers or if you clutter your desktop with Rainmeter skins.

Still worth it regardless, 'cause it looks good :3

Make a picture of your desktop using the key 'prt sc' or 'prt scr'. If that doesn't work, use fn+prt scr. If none of these work, I can't help you. Once you've did this, just go to paint or pain.net or something and paste. Voila: You've got a picture of your desktop!

Or, if you are on a Mac, use cmd+shft+3 to take a screenshot of the whole screen, cmd+shft+4 to take a screenshot within a selected box, or use cmd+shft+4+space to take a screenshot of a window (I'm assuming you know how to use imgur or another picture upload site).
