There lived a Hobbit.

December 14, 2012 - The Hobbit 'An Unexpected Journey' hits theaters!

Are you going to see it? If you have seen it what do you think about it? Will the trilogy be a failure or a wild success?
Feel free to post your opinions on the movie/trilogy!

I personally thought it was a magnificent start, I am aware of its slow start at the, but it is inevitable to not have one, in the book there is certainly a slow start as well - they want to introduce the plot/characters fluently and clearly. The movie about half way in was constant fun - and typically, the first movie in a trilogy/saga have a slow start to introduce the expedition. I feel as if this will follow the Lord of the Rings path where the movies get better in numerical order, if that makes sense. (1 being the least best, 3 being the best.)

P.S: I typed this up at 4am - I just saw it and I am quite the tired fellow.

Gonna go see it tomorrow \o/ I'm a little worried about the fact that they make three movies out of one book, i feel like its a bit too much to be honest, nonetheless, i'm looking forward too it!

They're making MORE movies to follow this one?!!!
And I thought they would try to fit it all in this one movie. How silly of me.
I'm hoping to go see it soon. Just finished re-watching and reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy; hoping the movie is just as good as the book was.

The 48 fps of the movies kinda bugs me a lot, but still, probably gonna see it. It probably could have been done in that 3 hours though...
I watched it last night :) I think it was good and followed the story line pretty well, the fast frame rate got annoying at some parts but it was mostly ok, I am really looking forward to part 2!
What's the difference? I'm so curious about this - I'd think it would look better :/
IF YOU SPOIL THE MOVIE GODDAMNIT I WILL END YOU

If you couldn't tell by my signature, I'm here to tell you right now that I am ecstatic about The Hobbit.
But, why? Whyyyy?! I don't get it? I live right next door to the country that the Hobbit was filmed in and we have to wait till Boxing Day. ;_;
