Issues Purchasing Minecraft

Dunno if this is in the proper section, however quite recently I tried to purchase minecraft from minecraft.net and it refused the purchase. I do have a theory and I believe that due to the many purchases right before Christmas, they are backed up and are not accepting more purchases until they sort out their current purchases. I know there are others who cannot buy premium at the moment as well so thats why I thought I should post this. My theory may not be correct however, other opinions would be welcome on the topic.

Yes well this one is really the icing on the cake of all their problems, if people can't buy minecraft they don't earn any more money

I really wanted premium before the opening of Elysium

They do sell gift cards now, you might be able to use that. And trust me, the night of elysiums release was crazy x)
