Too reel in more people and to keep the players we have now interested with the lowered playerbase. It also gives players the initiative to play and do well to gain prizes. Moreover, it is rather ignorant of you to say that after the work put into it - wouldn't you rather have the competition and see some competitiveness on the server?

Yeah - I could have misinterpreted if he was shooting down the idea, but everyone does have their own opinions, but nevertheless we should try to keep the inconsiderate to ourselves - furthermore, it really isn't a big problem.
