I suggest that after sending a PM you can edit or delete it, as there is no option to do so.
Deadl0ck It's always bugged me that regular users can't edit their messages in a PM.
Edit is set to 5 minutes on pm's. It always has been.
15 minutes for forum posts.

Deleting of pm's is not allowed due to "OH LETS RANDOMLY INSULT SOMEONE ON PM, AND THEN DELETE IT LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO"

ok, I though you meant that you could only edit it after 5 minutes. Thank you for clearing that up, but could it be changed to where you could always change it?
It could be. It won't be, but it could be.

By the way, care to explain what the meaning of this was in irc just now?

Sorry for previous post here, but I wanted to update my staff roster......

I think its BAD idea to have edit button disappearing after some time on forums - what if someone updates regularly first post of thread? (EG. Its staff roster, some event or other stuff).
There should be NO TIME LIMIT on editing of posts.
What if someone makes grammatical or some very serious error in post, and he didn't notices it instantly?
Sorry for double post... I couldn't delete previous one.

Deadl0ck like zezmi said, I don't see the 5 minute edit limit on PMs. In fact, there's never an edit button in the first place. I think that should be fixed.

Also, I agree with raxo. Threads that constantly need to be updated (like my Zombie ex-staff and current staff lists) need the ability to be edited at any time. It's rather inconvenient to not be able to edit it later. At least give unlimited edits to the original post :p

I'm not sure where all this is coming from.

None of this has changed in forever. It's been this way always.
and I've done tests with a non-staff account. I see the options.
Do you were changing something with PM's? Maybe something triggered bug with forum options.
I don't see them.

There should be Edit and Delete buttons at older posts.

They are at new posts.

I'm not sure about delete. However, there always has been a 15 minute edit timer on forum posts, as well as a 5 minute edit timer on pm's. I'll look into the back end again.
Delete and edit were available forever - unlimited time, so for example I could delete my posts in staff roster (to avoid double-posting) and I could edit original post of it, even though it was posted in August.

Meh, I messed up. Apperantly there was a time limit set, just not activated, and I activated it by accident when I was looking at PM permissions (which is 2 lines above it.) So, thread editting is set back to unlimted, pm's still have a 5 minute edit time. (Keep in mind, this will only show up in NEW messages. So messages older then 5 minutes will not be edit-able, and as such, the button won't show up. Chillingworth)
