Ever felt like the servers were slow? Wondering if it's just you, or everyone? Want to see how many players are on the servers? Do you just really like numbers and pretty colors?

Introducing: status.blocktopia.net
Simply login as "guest" with no password, and you'll be able to access a wealth of information about all our servers and the current performance of them. The information you'll most likely want to look at:
  • Active Player Count - How many people are currently on.
  • Port Health - Green means the server is accepting connections.
Other information includes load statistics, memory usage, and a whole lot more.

In the future, should you ever be curious if there is a problem, feel free to check here.

Awesome, my only concern is, you can find the ACTUAL IP addresses from this information (not the servers IP) but the actual IP's of the host, and being the computer nerd i am. I retraced it back, and found the state of who hosts the classic servers, and country of premium. Along with latitude and longitude (not exactly the hosts location i dont think..... but fairly close) and even the ISP of the hosts. So uh.... shouldnt you hide that?

...any ping of smp.blocktopia.net the last years would have given you the same info ;)

Why would any of that information need to be hidden? All of it is already accessible anyways - running smp.blocktopia.net through nslookup will spit out the IP. People vastly over-exaggerate the danger of someone having an IP address.

No worries. I appreciate the concern, but I deal in IT Security on a daily basis. There are one or two things that stick out to me, but showing an IP address is not one of them ;).
