Weirdest Rumor?

So I am curious I want to know what the most ridiculous rumor you have ever heard about yourself or somebody else is.

For me it was that people thought I was dead because I missed school for the first time in 3 years (it happened to be a week long vacation) I was kinda freaked out when everybody was hugging me and crying after I got back.

Since my previous classmates knew that I was born in Germany, they started this weird rumour that my father was a German.
...I really don't know how it started. I am an Asian and I look 100% Asian.

People started a rumor saying that she was home-schooled but she was in my classes for 5 years...

I remember being in high school and my friend was dating someone and me and some other friends spread a rumor that he and his girl were going to break up and the girlfriend of my friend got really pissed and started interrogating me about who started the rumor. Best part of my high school life besides graduation of course :3

Edit: This about us? Oh....well I guess she if I remember correctly started to tell a lot of people bad things about me unless I told her who started the rumor

Umm, not many rumors go about me. One prevalent one was that I smoked weed, mainly because I used to be really tired a lot due to being near nocturnal. And another one was that I was gay, which really wasn't that bad of a rumor anyways.

There was a rumor that a guy from my shcool had been gone for 4 days because he got run over by a car, this ended up being no rumor when he came back two weeks later with 2 broken leg bones and tons of road rash.

It was funny, until we found out it was true. Then it was hilarious :D

When I was about 7, all it took was a kid to say "Chucky's coming to keeeeeel youuuu" to freak us out. Then kids started coming up with ideas like "If you yell Chucky 3 times he'll kill you." or "Chucky will kill you when you wake up at night at 12:01" or stuff like that.
