Although, some may ask, what IS GeoGuessr?
GeoGuessr is basically a game which uses Google's "Street View". It's very new, and was only opened a few days ago. You start the game, and it takes you somewhere in the world, and your job is to walk around and figure out where in the world you are. You can use landmarks, signs, cars, clothes, whatever you need to figure out where you are. When you're ready to make a guess, you choose your location from the Google Map to the right of the screen. You get points based on how many times you've moved, how accurate you were with your guess, etc.
For example, the first GeoGuessr game I ever played, I was placed directly in front of the Sky Tower, which is the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. As it's in my country (New Zealand) in the largest city (Auckland) I immediately knew where I was, and was able to get a large amount of points based on that. Of course, you aren't always placed in easily recognisable locations, as the second game I played, I was placed on a country road, outside a farmhouse, in the middle of nowhere.
As I said above, feel free to post your travels/stories here! :)
